I am following Meldonium doping case across the sport world for some time now. Meldonium IS NOT A PED. Actually pharmaceutical companies filed several claims to remove it from banned list. It's just improves exchange of oxygen in blood and prevents risk of heart problems and heart attacks due to heavy physical loads. That's it.

I've only just remembered this fight is happening today. I've noticed this fight isn't even being talked about by most around here in the UK like his previous fights, the usual.. "Are you watching the AJ fight?" buzz just isn't there. He really needs to be entertaining tonight or go back to selling crack.Comment

Povetkin looks fat. Not THAT fat, but still...
I am always bewildered when a professional boxer who has had plenty of time to prepare for a fight shows up looking like a somewhat-less-hairy James Gandolfini.

What kind of convinced me, at the time WADA banned Meldonium there was an interview of a Finnish WADA official and he basically said "Meldonium is bullsiht but itīs still unethical and we banned it just to be sure." And he usually vastly exaggerates the pros and cons of every PED Iīve heard of. It also became evident that Meldonium took a very long time to entirely leave your system. By the time Povetkin got busted for Meldonium this was all ( at least shouldīve been) pretty much common knowledge for everyone. So to me, Wilder ducked the fight. Ostarine? Whole different story. It seems that Ostarine actually works even if itīs no match to actual steroids so with that one Povetkin deserved his penalty.Comment
