Now Lampley calling GGG a modern day Ali?

Give me a phuckin break. This clown will never be in Ali’s level! Nobody outside Kahtarzan knows who this dude is. This is why i hate this clown and his fan girls. So let me get this straight this bytch BEFORE the fight says GGG entire career a failure if he loses then GGG loses Jim pulls a 180 and now he writes this long BS about how losing don't matter GGG is already a modern day Muhammad Ali LMAO
And you wonder why the media had it for GGG yet the fighters and trainers overwhelming had canelo winning. Because you had some bias media with an agenda and Jim made it clear his agenda with that letter. Fighters and trainers weren't on some fanboy shyt and had cards filled out for GGG even before the fight and a list of excuses ready when he lost.
They failed in shoving a white boxer down our throats. These dudes just don’t like Mexican and Black fighters period. I remember how they used to ride Mannys nuts until Marquez knocked his ass out and Floyd schooled that ass. Same goes for Kovalev. Thank god, Floyd, Ward, Marquez and Canelo put an end to this madness.
Don’t even get me started with Kelly Pavlik either.
I’m glad Canelo is leaving HBflOp.Comment

Is there anyone who values Lampley's opinion anymore? I don't think there are many. And if they do this one might lose them cuz calling GGG a modern day Ali is one of the oddest comparison's I've heard in boxing in a minute & its not like there aren't a lot of mfers in boxing saying nutty sh^t.Comment

Wasnt he comparing a situation? Something about like ali losing the frazier fight actually gained him more fans or something. I'd have to re-read, but if true, as always, fanboys will fanboy.Comment

He knows much more boxing than kellerman. And he's less biased than roy jones. Undeserved hate, but who in this business doesnt get undeserved hate?Is there anyone who values Lampley's opinion anymore? I don't think there are many. nope. Somebody else did got to love the internet. Just like I didn't take these pics after the fight but I got them too
I was robbed doe LMAOComment

HBO seems to realize Canelo is all but gone so they are slurping GGG to keep him on the network. Maybe they will have him headline cards with cheaper big fights from the lower division.Comment

Of course he knows more than Kellerman. He gots a photographic memory, or close to one as he claims anyway.
That doesn't make him incapable of saying dumb sh^t doe which is he prone to do & as I'd argue he's doing here.
GGG is no modern day Ali & he's not really got much of a boost off of this L that I'm seeing. Most cats thought it was a close fight EVEN if they had GGG winning, of which I am among those as I thought GGG won 7-5 off of the jab, but there were quite a few close rds.
But beyond that the reality is a lot of fans had negative overall takes on GGG cuz he didn't fight "Mexican Style" as he said he wanted Canelo to do & like fans expected him to do. This fight likely woulda been much more epic then it was had GGG did GGG sh^t & I think fans of boxing, casual & hardcore, realize that & he's no fan favorite now off of that widely held stance. People were burning his sh^t outside the venue ffs.Comment

Lampley said Golovkin's career will amount to a failure if he loses to Canelo before the fight:
LAS VEGAS – Jim Lampley feels there’s much more at stake for Gennady Golovkin on Saturday night than three middleweight titles, boxing's record for the most consecutive 160-pound championship defenses, his earning power moving forward and his pride.
Now that Canelo won he's changed his tune and now Golovkin is the peoples champion who can't get a fair shake by the powers that be. As a blow by blow guy there's none better than Jim but Lampley has ALWAYS been about emotions and supporting the guy he thinks is "nicer". He exaggerates way too much, how do you even compare an outspoken black boxer in 70s America who the establishment hated for not serving his country to a WHITE boxer who got beat by a MEXICAN. WTF is wrong with him?Comment
