GGG threw over 250 more punches throughout the fight. He threw a lot more combos in the second half where Canelo was the one fading. Both guys stood in each other’s face beating on each other pretty much the entire time.

No he did not. GGG landed more punches overall.

GGG landed more power punches to the head, and doubled Canelo in jabs to the head.

The only shots that Canelo landed more were to the body, and those did not slow down GGG so much, as Canelo slowed down in the second half while GGG upped the pace.

THIS!!! Close first half with Canelo being a bit more effective...second half GGG took over and pretty much dominated most rounds including championship rounds. Typically you have to take the champs belt, not start strong, lose steam and gifted the belt. Great fight but will be tainted with the obvious favoritism of Canelo. FFS, GGG basically got penalized for what Canelo got credit for doing last fight.

Really? Was GGG even ever wobbled throughout the fight? He took all those shots, yet not once did he look like he was in danger. Canel, on the other hand, did appear wobbled on several occasions.

Both guys have monster chins, though.
