Loma 4th? You realize he's actually 1st in the world now right? That's by Ring and ESPN rankings.

Did you just cite ESPN. hahaha. All of us with an account on this site should NEVER use ESPN's rankings. They are a joke. Ring, TBRB, and NSB done by Cliff are at least credible.

Crawford cleaned out 135 beating the #1, 2 & 3 (including the unbeaten Gamboa who was on the cusp of p4p and looked potentially special) and then won every title at 140 against a variety of styles. Crawford has cleaned out more divisions then anyone on your list FYI.

I get that he hasn't got a glittering list of opponents but is resume is better than most of your list, his accomplishments far better and obviously his skill which is a bit more subjective but still clearly obvious to me and most.
So we go back to Bud.
1st of all Gamboa nevery fought at 135 before that fight.
Either you are a casual, or you are biased like everyone else on this site.
As far as cleaning out divisions,
Crawford never fought the best in any division he was in.
Never fought Linaries at 135, & at 140 he never saw Progrias, Maurico Herrara, Andre Berto/Broner, Omar Figeroua Jr, or Matheyse.
He fought Indogo, & other guys that are not even a afterthought.
Charlo defeated his mandatory in Lubin, & about to face the dangerous Jared Hurd.
Who will Crawford fight next? Mike Alvarado? Brandon Rio's?
No disrespect, but dude never fought anyone with a pulse.
Thurnan, & ESJ said the same thing.
We all can't be wrong sir...

First of all if you are going to call someone a casual for disagreeing with you at least make a factual claim. Gamboa fought Perez for the WBA interim lightweight championship the exact fight prior to Crawford. The last time I checked lightweight is 135 pounds so that would make your claim incorrect and thus your labeling look rather dumb.

He never saw Broner because Broner was fighting at 147 which is the same reason he never saw Berto. Mattheyse, you say? Mattheyse lost to Victor Postol via KO for the WBC title and who then toyed with Postol in the very next fight?
