Why would GBP have to do a deal with ESPN? They don't have a exclusitivity clause with ESPN. Canelo is his own enterprise. If he is to go to ESPN, it won't be on no deal with TR.

As Hearn keeps striking out on Haymon A-siders, he will get more and more aggressive on flights like Kovalev/Alvarez. I mean according to Duva, they offered more money than ESPN for that fight but she just felt ESPN as a whole has more drawing power and is here to stay. That tells me she is going to try to get some dates on ESPN if possible. Only problem? Her stable is quite possibly the worst from any relevant promoter.

Could also be she sees a Gvozdyk/Stevenson unification as being easier to a Bivol or Beterbiev fight. No one seems to be calling out a duck by going to ESPN. She was scared ****less of the thought of putting Kovalev into the WBSS, clinging on to relevance

And if Stevenson beats Gvozdyk? I don't think she did this because of Kovalev's next fight. She knows ESPN will need to fill their dates with other promoters so she wants to align herself with TR and ESPN. She is no fool, she knows Kovalev will be the underdog heading into the rematch with Alvarez. To her, this was a long term play, not a short term play where she goes to the highest bidder.

She's done Kovalev dirty 2 times to try to keep herself relevant. First, Kovalev wanted to enter the WBSS, she got him signed to an HBO contract. 2nd, DAZN offering more money, she took him to ESPN for her own gain. Delaying the inevitable.

Of course she is doing what is best for company instead of what is best for Kovalev. Most promoters do just that. You can't convince me otherwise that one of the reasons Wilder/Joshua didn't happen this October or November is because Hearn wanted that fight to be on DAZN in 2019 and didn't think he could put it on DAZN a month or two after the launch. Duva knows the deal with HBO and is looking to link up with TR to get a few dates on ESPN per year. Dog eat dog world this is, and you have to do what you have to do to survive. Unfortunately for Kovalev, he is the one who has to get sacrificed here for her good.

u don’t seem to get it. TR HAS has boxing exclusivity with ESPN just UFC has the same deal with mma.

After a little more research, the date will be December 22nd.
December 8 , NCAA Basketnall and the MLS Cup will be on Fox that day.
How can I change the title.

But against Loma? That wouldn't end well for PBC.
You can avoid having them in the same city though.

Wilder/Ortiz was the same night as Kov fought at MSG (theater) and the Kov match was a massive failure

Loma will have Dec 8 to his self, it looks to be Dec 22 for the PBC Show.

That can possibly be a co-main event to an Errol Spence-Mikey Garcia fight. Or Errol vs someone else.

                      We'll see.
NO it isn't. Zab hasn't been a relevant fighter for at least 8 years. I don't care how long Thurman's been out if he's healthy and trained for the fight this is an easy one for him.
