Round 11: 92/8 GGG, Judges: GGG GGG GGG
Round 12: 70/30 GGG, Judges Canelo Canelo GGG

So only the 9th & 12th rounds go against the grain of these media members (although Feldman is the only judge who stays with the consensus & give both those rds to GGG). And most of these people have GGG winning, but the consensus opinion is a draw.
Only 2 rounds went against the grain and they both went to Canelo. Which is all it took to give him a win that the majority don't think he deserved.

If you look at the bottom of the spreadsheet; when rounds can can go either way (50% scored for both fighters) the judges always went with Canelo. Even then, judges needed to buck the trend by go against the consensus of GGG winning specific rounds for this to not at least end in another draw. It's the same as in the first fight. Gave Saul the close rounds & only the more dominant rounds are given to Golovkin. Rnd 3 & 5 both got scored for Canelo on all 3 judges even though media was split. Similarly, Rnds 8, 9 & 12 saw at least 2 judges give Saul the nod even though media was split & even leaned heavily to Golovkin for the latter two. Conversely, GGG only received one round from one lone judge when the media leaned towards Canelo winning the 7th overall.

No matter which side of the fence you're on, it was a great fight. I give Canelo a lot of respect for facing GGG twice, even with all the controversy. He fought very well & showed real heart in there.

The part I & all GGG fans don't like is that Golovkin doesn't get a fair shake. Just like last time, 75%+ believes GGG won yet he once again doesn't get the nod.

I'll allow you to be judge, but when almost the entirety of press row had GGG edging out the win or at least earning a draw once again, he gets the short end of the stick. We all knew this was coming; that Gennady wouldn't get a fair shake against Canelo & am afraid that this only continues in the future for any foe of the top ppv earners.

      Reddit Press row media scorecards.

I get your points but you seem to be missing the obvious. It was always going to happen this way.

GGG got put in a long list of 90/10, 80/20 and 70/30 fights to build him up as a "monster" with the payoff being he'd never get a decision win over Canelo. He made millions of dollars. He got endorsement deals.

It sucks but this is what promoters and networks do.

What the people and media says does not mean shi.t

        Because Canelo is very hated.

The reality is that he won 115-113 and was the better fighter

You could say that, it's a fair assessment.
Or that when the rounds were extremely close the judges leaned towards Canelo.
Or that GGG lost his belts, title defenses in another controversial fashion.

The first fight was more clear imo = Draw
This fight was very close although most lean towards GGG or a draw = Canelo win.
Next fight (if is one) when GGG a year older...think we all know the result.
Just another footnote in the history of boxing.
          Nothing new here.

Some of us are very stubborn!
Yes, I hear ya. As GGG said, he learned from the first fight what the Boxing business is really all about. He's only going to become more resentful of the system, his efforts go unrewarded.

He needed to do more to win against this opponent, I get that. He did enough to deserve keeping his belts though.

I don't use media or popularity to develop my score, opinion, etc, but I think it does lend credence to the fact that people can see fights in different ways.
Those who want to act like GG got stomped and his fans are delusional are being ignorant. In fights like this, you have to be able to understand how people can arrive to different results, if you're going to claim to understand boxing.

So you're saying we should also disregard anything you say, seeing as your username is "Mexican_Puppet" and you're a clear Mexican boxing fanboy, who will be biased towards Canelo?

At the end of the day, it was a very close fight. Neither side got dominated. Both sides came to fight and brought us a great match that was extremely close Saturday night.

                      I'm objective.

I saw Estrada losing against Sor 115-113, I saw Márquez losing the second fight against PAC and against Bradley, I saw a draw in the Canelo vs Lara fight.
