It’s funny I predicted exactly what would happen that it would be an 8-4 or 7-5 ggg sun again and Canelo would get the “W” and the vast majority of the media would say Canelo didn’t deserve it.
I also knew every single poster who’d score it for Canelo too.
You know how it is man, after each big fight the casuals come out of the wood work to shyt on the fighter they hate (typically an EE OR Asian) while celebrating a gift from the judges for their guy.
Canelo imposed himself on GGG all night...all close rounds go to the fighter dispaying ring generalship and effective aggression. Canelo was a man in there tonight and took that win period!

Like clockwork. They are nothing if not predictable.

Yes I agree, commentary from HBO was ridiculously biased. I predicted Canelo tko but I feel GGG full deserved the win.
I just find it hilarious that people spend years calling GGG one dimensional, and then when Canelo comes forward, and GGG boxes very well, and proves he is not one dimensional, they say he lost because he didnt fight one dimensionally coming forward.
Whats also equally funny is all of these same people trying so hard to convince everyone that Canelo won. Most people think GGG won the fight.
Almost every single person that thinks Canelo won both fights made it seem like Canelo's complete inability to do ANYTHING to stop GGG from pounding that sledge hammer of a jab into his face all night meant nothing at all.
But anyone who has watched boxing for any period of time and understands the sports understands that boxing doesn't work that way.
You don't take away from a fighter because you expect him to come forward, when in reality if you actually watch GGG fight, what you should always expect of him is good footwork and a consistent jab.
Im not trying to diminish what Canelo did. He fought his heart out. The fight was close. Canelo did some great work in there also. But he once against failed to find a solution to GGG's jab.

So by your standard, Golovkin won the first fight?
