Yeah, I had him winning, so what? He can still be overrated. It's not like he accomplished much.
When this guy finally had the fight he wanted he decides to be really cautious. There was times when Canelo was open and GGG almost refused to throw. It was so frustrating to watch.
Great jab to set up nothing. Like what?
Usually the jab is thrown to set up other punches.
Other fighters need to learn from GGG's mistake. I have to point them out, so other fighter's won't do the same.

Not only that, but Charlo, Hurd, and Munguia are much taller and Hurd/Mungia seem even bigger than GGG..who’s noticeably bigger than Canelo.
It pains people to admit it but Canelo was never really THAT big at 54. Him and lara and trout and smith were all similarly sized with Liam being a good sized dude.
Hurd and Munguia could move up to 160 right now and probably have a size advantage still

You supposed now to overly dominate or it's a "could have gone either" fck it wich validate a small robbery.
That's not the case in both of those fights.
I've stopped caring about winning or losing so much I gotta say. I try to appreciate the fight for the fight & find the decision the least interesting part of a big fight.
And lotsa respected people said the first fight was a fight where they could see a draw. The Byrd card got everyone all emotional, but ultimately it wasn't unreasonable for someone to score the fight for Canelo...just not 10-2 like that dumb assh#le had it.
Look Bud had GGG winning again, Frampton said "**** off about that decision" and I'm pretty sure most boxers will have GGG clearly wining again, I mean, could have gone either, NO, I had GGG winning myself, period, if I thought it was that close, I would have a draw.
When most serious people tell GGG won or could have gone either, then you know what's up.
You're a serious poster and I was pretty much sure you had GGG wining.

Just because you want to act like age isn't a factor for whatever personal reasons you want to pretend age in a sport like boxing isn't relevant. Hell this isn't baseball, it's not the NBA, and even in those sports giving a 35 year old athlete anything close to an elite level pay via contract is risky as fk..and that's to play ball not get punched in the face. Sit back for a moment and understand what i'm saying...you calling someone elite and them being elite are two different things. Once having being elite does not mean you remain that, especially if you aren't fighting anyone who is considered elite. Losing to elite fighters also doesn't keep you as elite which plenty of these guys did..LOSE after 35. You don't want to keep it going but here....don't take it from me....use google. Let science explain it to you. So if 20 people in thousands literally THOUSANDS within a sample size we can look at are the exception to the rule does that make the rule null and void? Again, don't let me say it..hit google and do your research and tell me 35 and over is still peak elite level of athleticism.
Earlier in the thread you were complaining about judges and how Golovkin was never getting a decision, then it was him pulling the trigger too late and being old PLUS the judges. Now you're trying to discredit older guys who managed to remain elite (as if nitpicking any resume is not easy), to prove the already well known fact that fighters slow down with age because...? I named 10 guys when you asked for 5 (most of them perched atop their divisions), so yeah, I don't see a need to continue. This'll be my last post on this. I can agree to disagree.Last edited by doom_specialist; 09-16-2018, 02:11 AM.
