  • Abel Sanchez interview....

GGG trainer Able Sanchez answer when directly asked was why GGG was backing up from Canelo after they demanded Mexican Style talk and was that the game plan you had.

“I wanted Golovkin to fight Canelo. If Canelo was gonna stand in the middle of the ring, I wanted him to fight Canelo. He decided it was better to do the things that he did." - Able Sanchez

Asked a follow up on why he did that

“If I start to make excuses about Golovkin, then I’m taking away from the victory of Canelo, and that’s ridiculous. We as coaches can only coach them and do the best we can in the gym and have a game plan. When we get in there, they see things that maybe are better for them. We can’t force them to do something they don’t want to do." - Able Sanchez

Sanchez told him all night you losing and told reporters after the fight he didn't win what more does his own trainer have to say for you fangirls to believe him? LMAO

In this interview with Abel Sanchez he clearly states he was surprised by the decision because he felt they had won....meaning Triple G had won...

He also states that he told Triple G that he was losing between one of the rounds only to motivate his fighter.....but not because he felt they were really losing the fight

Great trainers and cornerman have historically told their fighters between rounds that were losing the fight to motivate their fighter.....This is nothing new.....

In Canelo's corner after the 10th round they told Canelo to stop throwing stupid punches( Tirar golpes a lo pendejo) also to box and not try to knock Triple G out as they felt Triple G was too strong( lleva la pelea bien es demasiado fuerte) they also asked Canelo he if was hurt after the 10th.......

I have been watching boxing for more than 40 years....I give credit and respect to Canelo ......but I thought Triple G won the fight and my card was aligned with the English announcers calling the fight.

        • Canelo won that fight...landed more combos and did more body work also blocked and dodged alot of ggg punches mostly jabs, which is called defence and also part of the scoring criteria. He went forward most of the fight, while landing punches to the head and body . Don't go by the the commentary or compubox which counts arm and glove punches, judges don't these are pro fights not amateurs

          • I find it funny how ggg fans are bashing abel because he felt it was a close fight that could have gone either way.lol

They want Abel to be as biased as them and just turn a blind eye to reality and cry robbery.

That's the pot calling the kettle black. No one in their right mind can honestly believe Canelo won the first fight.

I don't know what else "elite" means, outside of made up definitions to make them not so. You said Froch wasn't elite, with Bute, Kessler, and Groves, who were the only guys at 168 worth talking about at the time. I guess I should say something about you as a fan, but I'm not, because I'm a grown up.

In addition to that, you clearly said you wanted Golovkin to throw the uppercut, but he got it going too late. If I interpreted things incorrectly, my fault. As far as trying to win, I said agree to disagree lol.
Elite is the cream of the crop of fighters, if you don't know what that is then I can't help you. Boxrec is very useful to look at who fighter fought and when. It's not hard to discern who is elite and who isn't in that list. It even has the main fighters age in there so you can go down the list of who they fought after turning 35 and what their success was. Very few fighters and I mean like 1 percent of boxers historically are elite after 35, very few are even 75% of what they were in their prime, and if you look from the 70s on there is plenty on video of fighters talking about how much harder it is on the body. From basketball, baseball, to football athletes decline hard around 32 or so and with the exception of football none of them are constantly as concussed as boxers.

I said "agree to disagree" like 2 weeks ago or something. I don't know why you would even dig this up, outside of petty last word BS lol

Actually, it's called having a life I responded to your post when I finally got back on here..Sorry some of us have other ***** to do. Ironically you talk about last word, if you had said all you needed to say then why respond? To insult me? Well done, guess you achieved something there. Have a great day there bud.

Because it's bizarre that people with internet access say that "having a life" is why they rehash weeks-old discussions (while apparently having a life). If you had a life, I feel like you would have dropped this already, but here you are lol. I'm clearly not talking about the previous topic (which means that I did in fact say all I wanted), but did want to make an inquiry into your bringing up old $hït lol. Sorry I hurt your feelings, but I didn't even insult you. When a guy gets a reply to a comment this old, what should he think, outside of "petty last word BS because this has BEEN OVER'? lol cya bud
