Langley is having a laugh. How about getting to 30 title defenses

He did and they were some nice ones. If he had the natural size and could take the heavier punches, I think the fight would've ended differently in favor of Kell.

“But if he loses the fight, his entire career was a failure.” -Lampley

Dumber words have never been said before in boxing history. He's a millionaire, had unified titles at 160 and has tied the all time MW defense record. Not only that, he's a great person and has provided many, many exciting fights for fans all over the world. Hardly a failure by an unit of measure. I like Lampley, but he clearly f@cked up here. That's almost unforgiveable.

Big overstatement but overstatement is part of his job...or so I've come to believe over the years.

What else is there to undo? I like GGG, but his career has been a disappointment. Yes he has been a MW champion for so long and beat who was willing to fight him, but GGG was never the type of guy who chased a fighter for greatness. He chose to stay at 160 when he could have challenged himself at 168 for a fight in between his mandatory when he couldn't get a big name in his division. He was handed most of the titles he won and only beat a Lemieux for his a title. He wouldn't go out of his weight class but was calling Canelo a coward for not moving up to fight him and when he finally did, GGG seemed to tentative when they fought. K2 did what it could for him, but they didn't do enough to get him the big fights cause they just weren't in position to pay fighters.

What exactly is everything else? Jacobs win? The resume isn't all that robust. He has to win.

                What did Lampley say?
Was he suggesting he should have gone up in weight?

It is obvious that Floyd is better and levels above historically than these two that’s why people ask more of him. And he often never gives it. When was the last time he fought someone we were damn surprise he did? When was the last time he fought someone exactly at the point fans demanded him to?
He has a shot at being the goat, it’s gotta take more than beating old versions of Pac, cotto, mosley, oscar.

He had no wins better than Leonard against Duran, hagler, hearns and benetiz.

Lol for all the hype HBO gives their fighters they're the first ones to turn their backs on them. Can't wait for their time in boxing to be over.
