If you’re defending Canelo’s attempts to cheat then you don’t understand boxing. Even matching has for centuries been a cornerstone of the sport. we want to know who is the best, so it’s right they use the same gloves, same amount of wrap, same body chemistry. You can turn it into a opp to blaze on GGG but the reality is this is the SPORT of boxing, not some bar brawl with pool cues and bottles smashed on peoples heads.

Rules are rules and they are set for a reason and if canelo is using too much tape on his hands then its only right he isn't alllowed to get away with it.
If canelo has weak hands that's his problem he should take a cortizone injection like mayweather did with his hands.
Or if its more to create an advanatge on how a shot connects or impacts then he should not be allowed....there is a reason why it is not allowed

Seems both sides came to an agreement.

The interesting part of the story though is on Saul's trainers made "No Boxing No Life" gloves that were just used in an 8 rounder. Can you imagine the controversy if these had in fact been used in the GGG fight?
