On the other hand, I know the opposite isn't true for most anti-GGG stans.

why is a 36 year old fighter with 300 + amateur fights and bad defense not old?

In a perfect world, sure but shyt happens. If one of these guys turned an ankle in the dressing room for instance, this fight would still happen. Almost anything shy of a broken tibia and this fight is going forward no matter the fighters condition. Hopefully both are in perfect health and perfect condition but there are no guarantees.

I don't think because you've said "no excuses" it would mean that a BS decision would be incontestable. Robberies happen often and this fight has a stink about it like the last one where every objective Boxing follower or people that can score a fight based on what actually happened vs. what they want to say happened.

No excuses for what happens in the ring? Sure, why not? No excuses for the official result? Nah. There's been too many robberies that I won't just accept. I.e - Whitaker beat Chavez and I count it as a win. I don't view their action as equals in the ring head-to-head. Marquez was blatantly robbed in the third Pacquaio fight I didn't and don't just accept that decision.
