Some guys get irritated by numbers too much: Vitali Klitschko has 31 knockouts in 32 wins (or something like that), does this mean he has a harder punch than Foreman or Tyson? Look at who he fought and how he hit them.

Anybody can surmise something about a fighter's career by looking atthe numbers on Boxrec.com

Truth is, Lewis was a heavy handed fighter, but he used his power a lot more conservatively after he was knocked out by McCall.

Also, Lewis's most powerful punches came from his right hand, whether they be straight, roundhouse or uppercuts. Lewis' jab was nice, but he did not really have a hook to speak of which took a dimension off his attack and perhaps explain why he was unable to tally a higher knockout rate overall.

Lewis didn't load up on his punches all the time but when he did, especially his right hook was absolutely devastating. Rudduck took all kinds of punishment from Tyson and came through it seemingly fine, once he got knocked down with an overhand right and went down smiling.

When Lewis blasted him with a right hook in the 2nd round of their fight, you knew Lewis was out and I was just thinking to myself "well he isn't smiling now."

Lewis right hand imo one of the best straight rights ever, he didnt go at people hammer and tongue, and was reserved with his power as he was a boxer not a puncher like tyson, forman etc, But his straight right was harder than tysons, so would u say tysons right hand was over rated too? Just another dig at english fighetrs its a joke.

Lewis was the best at setting up and breaking down an opponent. His jab was there, but he was great at measuring a foe as well. That long right hook was serious business though as well as his uppercut...i.e.Mike Tyson fight and Vitali Klitchko

                  Well I got 2 statements:
                  1) Lewis's overhand right was better then Max Baer's
                  2) 2Tough is a *****
                  Now prove me wrong!
