Lennox Lewis's power is very OVERRATED

he had 32 knockouts in about 45 fights. he is severely overrated in the power department. anybody who is 6'5 and 250 is gonna knock people out. im not saying he wasn't a good fighter, but he wasn't a one punch kayo artist like alot of brit fans say. he took people out with accumulated punishment, not one punch. for his size he was rather light hitting. ...........the time is yours...........

without steward and if he was 5'11 he would have been ****, he also waited for his contemporaries to get old, he isn't **** in history........prove me wrong.........

    I can't argue with that, I agree.
He hit hard, but not for his size.

The White Buffalo KO was one of the most spectacular KO's I've seen in a heavyweight bout. Botha had a chin as well. He also destroyed Ruddock, Golata, and Bowe in devastating fashsion in the early rounds.

Also, do you mean that he isn't **** in history as a puncher or as a fighter all around? I would disagree with both statements, just wondering what you mean, because as far as I'm concerned Lewis is unquestionably an alltime top ten in both power and overall heavyweight rankings.

                ???

24 of his KO's happened within the first 5 rounds, 15 of those KO's occurred within the first 2 rounds, I would say that alone suggests he could really punch.

Add into that the names mentioned above and I fail to see your argument!

I agree, it was impressive to watch, but Botha was what 6'0 and fought like he was 5'7 in that fight, and didn't have any power anyway. I'm surprised Lewis took as long as he did to get Botha out of there. I remember Ruddock (glass chin) and Golota (nut case) but I don't recall Lewis fighting Bowe, was it an amateur fight?
