LIES al LIES, Evangelista Cotto admitted he was there when Margarito was hand wrapped, and he said he did not see anything wrong with Margarito's hand wraps, so move on. Cotto was so infuriated losing to a very limited Margarito that he ended up not only firing Evangelista but got into an altercation with him....sour loser.

Seems to me he has it straight now.
a) stacking is allowed in Nevada so he's accepted that reality
b) there is a defined limit on the amount of tape that can be used and he's insisting that limit be observed. Seems totally fair.
He's just doing his job. What's the problem?Comment

Again how many did Trinidad/Toney Killed, or seriously injured? they did the double triple staking all the time, nothing has and likely will never happen because is not an issue, and it is within the rules.Comment

Las Vegas commission? Seriously....you new to boxing? This is a commission who saw nothing wrong with Canelo having a draw on a card against Mayweather who beat him every minute of that fight. That commission.Comment

I mentioned how illegal his hand wraps looked against Kirkland. Like little houses on his knuckles.Comment

Why is it an issue now that Canelo is doing it? I know for a fact that Tito Trinidad was doing it, James Toney always did it, and many other boxers done it. Nobody ever said anything when they fought in Las Vegas, but the hate for Canelo is so great that now it has become an issue. If unable is not willing to do the same with Golovkin, that's not Canelo's problem. He is following the NEAC rules.
As far as the "this person did it and nobody complained about it before why complain now" argument goes, that's total b.s. for 1: I know people complained about Tito & as far as Toney or anyone else that bent/broke the rules they either got away undetected or a blind eye was turned because of their star status. Just because someone got away with something in the past doesn't mean we should just let everyone do the same. Going forward we should want everyone to abide by the same rules with no special treatment. That way all controversy and what ifs are taken out of the equation.Comment
