[QUOTE=Bronx23;19092439]i cant stand Sanchez but I'll actually side with him on this. I saw the video of him pleading his case in the dressing room and the inspector was being a complete prick & didnt bother in trying to hear him out. Whole thing just seemed unprofessional.
I know athletes in every sport get special treatment (the Bradys, the Lebrons, The Jordans, etc.) but boxing is different. This a life threatening sport so when it comes to Gloves, PEDS, handwraps, padding, etc there should be no exceptions no special treatment for ANYBODY[/QUOTE
Plain and simple, Abel didn't know the rules when it came to wrapping a fighters hands in Nevada. Has he even had a fighter fight in Nevada before? Robert Garcia, has said himself, he will wrap his fighters hands a certain way based on what the state commissions allows. He isn't going to wrap a fighters hands by California rules if they're fighting in Nevada and vice versa. Garcia is aware that every state is different and knows the rules, Abel doesn't. If he choose to wrap GGGs hands as he always does, that's on them not Canelo.Comment

Exactly! Abel had no clue, probably hadn't had a fighter fight there in a long time. That falls on Abel not knowing the rules. Robert Garcia has said many times that he wraps his fighters hands according to what rules allow per state. For example, He will never wrap a fighters hands by California commission rules if they are fighting in Nevada, and vice versa.Comment
