Wilder is expected to beat Fury so he doesn’t get the same kudos.

Let’s say Ortiz fights Breazeale in December or better still Whyte and absolutely hammers him inside 4 rounds. If Deontay doesn’t want to play ball in April do you mean to tell me AJ vs Ortiz in April wouldnt be an intriguing fight.? Especially for most you Americans that feel AJ would lose.

Furthermore, if Wilder doesn’t take the fight in April who is he likely to fight?

I do agree AJ needs to beat his chest more and reward Wilder more at the negotiation table to at least prove to the fans that he is trying to make the fight
Anthony as much as I respect your boxing insight on this site I am going to have to respectfully disagree with your assessment. What originally made AJ the A side in the negotiations? His titles or his drawing power? I say that it was the latter.

However, Wilder has a chance of eclipsing AJ as the A side come December if he sells a massive amount of Pay per views globally. He would then become a global icon sensation over night.

So is this about titles or money? If it's about titles then yes I would agree. He needs AJ in order to become the undisputed heavyweight champion but if it comes down to money; Not so much because Wilder is slowly becoming a global superstar in his own right.

So I can promise you that his fight with Tyson Fury would out sell and do a lot better at the box office than Joshua's mandatory with Povetkin.

Not lately though; They have been constantly talking about their upcoming fight. It's AJ who is making these asinine comments like: "I am looking past Povetkin because I am going for the big guns now". Also, when he says "Go out there and take out Povetkin, like I would do with any other opponent and lastly, "Go in there, and have fun – don't be cautious because it's ruining my aggressive style,". It sounds to me that Joshua's own insecurities are getting the best of him. Wilder is on his mind as he watches his profile lose some shine from Deontay Wilder's new found limelight.

Hearn has also created a shyte situation with Khan feeding him two no hopers (just as well in Khans case) but this is not what the real boxing fans want to see.

Lets hope Tysons fight with Wilder gets a date and happens because the way Sky (Adam daft smith) and the Hearns are going on we will have to wait two years (Barry drunken Hearns take) to see this match.......but wait a minute Joshua said Wilder will be retired then ...what a ****ing mess the Hearns are making of our sport to feed their greed ....pair of wankers.
Joshua is calling for Wilder for April in this piece you absolute loon. What are you talking about?

Financially it will but not PPV numbers wise. There is no denying it is a mouth watering match up Deontay vs Tyson. Even boxing enthusiasts know this fight should be routine for Wilder. However, will this fight capture the imagination of casuals? Who knows.

The American PPV is a precarious platform. I have witnessed great fights perform poorly when PPV buys have been revealed. I.e Ward vs Kovalev.

Forget U.K. PPV because the fight will be shown at 4am in the morning so you would be lucky to squeeze 50,000 PPV buys.As for the number of buys in the states who knows. Would you consider 400,000 PPV buys as being a success?

I don’t share your optimism about Wilder. How is he perceived now in the states.. I’m not talking forums , boxing circles but commercially. When companies or chat shows are asking for you it’s usually a sign you are in demand.

If Wilder were fighting Breazeale would there be interest in him? Can he demand a hike in his pay? Or is it his dance partner why potentially there could be world wide media zoning in on the match up?

You maybe right but you could be so wrong. Only time will tell

Haha, Joshua is calling Wilder out for the April date. Can't you read or something?

Americans are so poisonous that they see what they want to see and not what is actually said. That shows you have a vendetta and an extreme bias.

Got it. When Joshua fought Breazeale and Whyte a few years ago, they weren’t ranked in the top 10 at the time. When he fought Wladimir, he was inactive for over 1 & 1/2 years and no longer ranked and 41 years old. When he fought Eric Molina, Wilder had already stopped him prior. When he fought Charles Martin, he won the title from a guy who got a vacant title after his opponent got injured. When he fought Takam, he had already lost to Parker and was stopped by Povetkin.

Technically Joshua has fought (2) ranked fighters in the top ten his ENTIRE CAREER, Takam and Parker.

Wilder beat Stiverne who was a champion that actually won the title without an opponent getting injured. He stopped Chris Arreola in a rematch for the WBC title who had only actually lost to (2) other fighters besides Stiverne at the time, Vitali & Adamek. Wilder also beat Molina when he was actually ranked as a HW, beat Szpilka who only had (1) lost to Bryan Jennings. He beat Luis Ortiz who was the 4th ranked HW at the time.

So let me ask you. Based on all of these FACTS that can be verified, who has fought more bums again? Know your boxing before you come at me fool. Go hard or go home!!!!

LOL these mfers can't even act like they've been there before with this low rent strategy they can't even hide.

Just f#cking fight the guy. If Hearn or Joshua think Joshua's career is taking a nose dive if he were to lose to Wilder they aren't as smart as they think. UK fans supported the f#ck outta Bruno & he kept getting KO'd in many of his biggest fights. So f#cking what man. Sh^t happens. And f#ck he's probably gonna win anyway which is only going to let you guys cash in more the world over. Joshua should have a Japanese beer TV ad by next year if this mfers don't become a nit with how they move him like they outside of Parker recently.
BARRY said they should wait because it will make more money down the road. It has no baring on what Joshua says. They are two different people making comments. They don't just merge together as one like it's coming from the same person. I thought you were smarter than that. Apparently not.

Barry already revealed that they want to wait out Wilder for another two years, and AJ is just confirming the strategy.

I can see Wilder staying in the game a while. He seems to train smart (not pounding the streets jogging, being smart with quantity of sparring, knocking guys out before it goes the distance, etc.) AJ is just lying to himself to escape the reality that he might have to meet Wilder in the ring or retire from boxing.

Even though Joshua is calling Wilder out for the April date? Haha, keep seeing things that don't exist other than in your mind.
