Then why can't Joshua just keep Deontay's name out of his mouth man? It's very obvious and clear to everyone that Wilder is no longer interested in him and has decided to move on but AJ's fragile ego just won't let it go by saying he is looking past Povetkin and is looking to make a knockout statement. It sounds to me that someone is missing the limelight. I promise you that Wilder/Fury breaks more box office and pay per view records than the Joshua vs Povetkin bout; Which hasn't even sold out as of yet. There are still several tickets remaining.

Wilder doesn't take much damage because he fights bums all the time. Any decent fighter wouldn't if they had the run Wilder has. When he actually faces someone fresh, he'll do more than take some shots, he'll be knocked out.Joshua just talks a bunch of sh@t sometimes. Like in any contact sport, it’s all about accumulating damage. Wilder hasn’t been in that many wars and taken that many hard shots to the head. He had (1) brutal round in his last fight against Ortiz but what else really. In 40 fights, Wilder has 39 TKO/KO’s. He has had only one 12 round fight against Stiverne and he didn’t really take any hard shots in that fight. In 40 fights, 34 of them have ending in 6 rounds or less. Where is the damage again? He didn’t start having longer fights until 3 years ago, so for 7 years, all his fights ended early. Where is the damage? In Joshua’s last 3 fights he went 10 rounds or more. In Wilders last 3 fights, he went 10 rounds only 1 time. Joshua is full of it-LOL!Comment

He's obviously going to be asked questions about Wilder while he's in camp. He's just answering them. Would you prefer him to not talk about Wilder at all? I'm sure people would have a lot to say if he those that.Looking past povetkin : http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/i...y-wilder-fight
Knows what's at stake, only focusing on povetkin fight : https://www.boxingscene.com/hearn-jo...career--131357
And now this article: looking past povetkin.

He won't lose the A side position though. Especially where Deontay is concerned. Outside of Fury, Joshua and Whyte, Wilder makes his 2 mill and no more a fight. Wilder isn't all of a sudden going to be a PPV fighter and selling tickets to a full house outside of these fights. Thinking otherwise is nothing short of delusional.Comment
