If only it was that easy. Mikey had already went up to Loma in person and told him to move up if he really wants the fights, this was after he beat Sosa and called out Mikey. Loma ends up fighting Rigo and Marriaga, both of them moved up ti fight Loma. Arum already had Loma's next fight planned out after Linares. Arum isn't letting Loma near Mikey anytime soon. He has already said Mikey needs to agree to his terms and fight on ESPN. Yet Mikey would get killed by you and everyone else if he said the same thing to Loma, to agree to Mikeys terms and fight on Showtime.

It seems like often when someone is getting ready to trash a boxer they say what a big fan of that boxer they are. It's as if that makes their trashing of said boxer more credible. If you are that big a fan of Mikey why start this thread? Mikey may not fight Spence next because Spence may fight Porter instead. Mikey has a very good record fighting quality opposition. He very recently defeated Broner, a 140 pound world champion and a 135 pound world champion. Those are not BS fights. I am a Mikey fan and will remain a fan even if he never fights Spence. I think Spence would slaughter him just like Spence would slaughter anybody at 147 or lower. MAN DOWN!

You are very wrong!! I like watching mikey fight so yes i am a fan. Spence is my favorite fighter atm and mikey is my second favorite behind spence. Im just sick of him calling people out without having any real intentions of fighting them.. Its like he is piggy backing off said fighters name and it has been going on for far to long now. Put up or shut up!! with that being said im still going to watch whoever he fights next, im just going to put my tv on mute when jim gray ask him who he wants to fight next during the post fight interview in the ring thats all. Ive come to learn it means NOTHING!

Can't see how anyone can pick on Soence if the fight happens. Mikey is the guy vocally campaigning for the fight. If he can make some good coin for a fight he never asked for good for him.

There is a huge difference of calling out big name fighters then fighting weaker competition immediately following your call outs. How can you use spence and canelo as examples??? Spence has been calling out all the big names in his own division but none of them have accepted! The reason kell fought him was because he didnt wanna lose his belt and was forced to fight spence as his mandatory.

He's been mentioning all the big names, but not calling them all out. He obviously doesn't want anything to do with Crawford. I've never heard a world champion come up with so many reasons for not fighting another world champion in his own division than Spence reeled off at the Porter/Garcia post fight presser.
