A guy who defends punches by absorbing them is not going to last long.

Charlo can crack and is technically sound. He will lay the boom in a way that Lara wasn’t capable of.

....but how will Charlo handle the constant pressure? Sure, Hurd won't have a long career at the highest level but he is not slowing down at the moment. I like this match-up and stylistically it could end up being a nightmare for Charlo.

Hurd is a guy who wears down his opponent. Not sure he can do that against Charlo who is just as big. I see Charlo out boxing Hurd with movement like Harrison was.

I think the style matchup on paper favors Charlo. Hurd can box when he needs to (as evidenced in his fights prior to Harrison) but I think Swift has grown accustomed to his newer style of stalking and breaking down opponents. Charlo seems a little more disciplined in his defense and punch selection.

All that being said, I do think Charlo is a little shook over Hurd. Hurd stopped the dude that neither Charlo could stop and both looked bad in winning sloppy decisions (I think Hurd's style compared to the Charlos' is a style more conducive to stopping a Trout). Also Hurd is calling out Charlo while it's usually Charlo calling out people. A Lion isn't used to be the hunted. Everytime I've heard Charlo talk about Hurd, he seems a little rattled.
