To me, it also gave me hope for the division. This was THE division for years. People had doubt after Floyd left and Manny got old. Yet, here we've got a lot of talented guys at 147 and all the potential in the world but the fights aren't happening! Such a shame.

I have a hard time giving garcia more than 5 rounds.

You're blind! No Ring-Generalship, sloppy wild grazing blows, poor defense. Danny was better in all departments that count in the scoring criteria -- all I keep reading is 'workrate' thats not how we score boxing.

To be honest I would have been good with a draw or either guy getting the nod by one round as a split decision
I didn’t see a UD coming at all for Porter. No outright robbery however.
But maybe Garcia should move up. I think the difference was Porter just looked more comfortable at welterweight. He looked fresh every round and never took rest.
Garcia threw one shot at a time most of the fight. While he was the more technical and accurate fighter taking rounds off hurt him.
Might even be time to switch trainers I just feel like he doesn’t have that hunger or dog in him. No way should a smaller and less skilled guy be bullying DG around the ring like that.
Congratulations to Porter he showed me a lot of heart. But that heart is going to get him hurt versus Spence.
Spence is going to return every punch and he likes to throw to the body. Porter is there to be hit all day.
