In today's division top 10. In another era top 20. The current crop of heavyweights isn't that great besides the top 4. Wilder, Fury, Joshua and Ortiz

Shame Martin was only 30% for this fight. I feel sorry for the heavyweight who faces Martin when he's 100%

Pulev, Chisora, Whyte, Kabayel, Teper, Povetkin, Hammer, Ruiz jr, Miller, Breazeale, Parker, Duhaupas, Takam. All these guys are better.

It was a decent fight. I think kownaski won majority of the rounds, both of them were lacking power until 8/10 rounds.
          10th round was amazing.
I enjoy the crap. Kownaski is a hell of an attacking fighter.

            So it is mathematically possible

barely, nobody really scores even rounds anymore when there aren't knock downs in the round. Something casuals may not know.

The good: It was a very entertaining fight, that went back & forth a little, and heated up in the last few rounds.

The bad: Neither one has elite skills, speed, or even halfway decent head movement, and have no chance against the top in the division.

.... but it was one of funnest fights of the weekend.

Well look at it even handed. he throws a lot of punches per a round, has fairly heavy hands, and can pressure well. Getting hit "heavy" by a guy who weights 260 can be devistating, especially if he can throw some shots culmulatively.

He has a lot of thinking to do though. If he just goes for it the way he is fighting he will be exposed as he moves up. On the other hand he is young enough that if he wants to reconfigure and lose some of the bad habits...its possible.

If I were his coach the first thing i would do, over perogies and sour cream is sit his butt down and have him watch Holyfield... the very definition of an elite pressure fighter. The kid throws every punch the same way, and does not sit down on any shots.

That was painful to watch. They're both pretty bad.

Exactly what I was thinking. But I don't even think top 25. Both guys are so slow and plodding. As soon as Kownacki fights a legit Heavy, he will get obliterated. He never moves his head off the center line and he's painfully slow. Tough kid, with a lot of heart, but a very limited skillset. Fun fight to watch though.
