Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: Fury Taking Walk on Wilder Side - Joshua Won't

TYSON FURY HAD absolutely no hesitation in agreeing to do what the great fighters do. That is to readily accept the challenge of taking on the best out there in the biggest fight there to be made. Jumping back in at the deep end against the unbeaten WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder just two fights into his comeback after some two and a half years out of the ring speaks volumes for the man and the competitor inside of him.

Frank has been around the block, Eddie Hearn is following daddy's blueprint ; Anthony Joshua is the new Chris E.U.bum of the UK. Tyson Fury would be the Steve Collins, or Joe Calzaghe in this chapter.

Oh Frank Warren, why do you let your jealousy of Joshua and Hearn glow so brightly? But really, you accuse them of avoiding opponents (actually AJ is likely to fight the Wilder-Fury winner), but what about your own ducking? Was there ever a more blatant duck than Hatton avoiding Witter? As for past heavyweight champions always fighting the best, really? Sullivan and Corbett ducked Jackson; Johnson and Willard avoided Langford; Dempsey ducked Wills and Greb; Marciano steered clear of Nino Valdes; Patterson avoided Folley, Machen and Liston for four years; Bowe ducked Lewis; Tyson gave up his WBC title to avoid Lewis..... Get your history right.

Pretty damning and quite true, Frank. Thanks; it needed to be said.

Frank Warren nailed it. Hearn’s team want no part of Wilder.

Hilarious that all the publicity Hearn did regarding AJ/Wilder just feel into Frank's lap when Fury returned.
Eddie is salty AF, evidenced by the fact that he's still talking about Wilder, Fury, and Frank instead of his own guy who is about to have a major fight. Eddie really ***ed himself on this whole deal and continues to do so. Guy needs to go back to marketing AJ instead of himself!! He forgot who the star is.
