It's true old man Hearn did the same with Eubank ,one of his opponents 'the punching postman' I think was Tony Thornton!
Hardly a world beater .When boxing fans like me wanted to see him in with the likes of James Tony and co. who like Wilder were crying out to get their hands on him.Old man Hearn did exactly the same thing ...smoke screen avoidance.

I would buy a ticket at the drop of a hat for Wilder v A.J. but am not that bothered about paying £20 quid PPV (unless the under card is good!) for Joshua's next .I might save the score and buy a couple of drinks on the flight out to Vegas knowing that I am going to see a man that after many troubles is prepared to put his money where his mouth is and although not always behind some of his shenanigans will only wish this true gladiator all the very best.

The Hearns will fall quicker than they climbed .....'wait two years to fight Wilder' That is not good for boxing but they seem happy ........They think everybody is as ****** as they sound!

Joe was nicknamed "Stay at home" Jo for years because of Warren kind of what Finkel did with Wilder. When Jo finally broke free of Warrens contracts he did his usual law suit again like Finkel with Briggs, honest "for the fans" Warren lost 2 million in court. At least "fish eyes" and Finkel keep the lawyers busy.

Collins missed out on the big fights (non domestic) and was still chasing Roy Jones a few years back (yes from retirement, he was quite bitter about that), there was a good write up in teh Times about it.

Finkel and Warren have a lot in common both messed up some good fighters careers and stole a lot of money.

What Warren did deliver was a lot of good domestic fights (and no I don't have a great opinion of Barry Hearn either)

I still repeat if you are so sure of beating the cash man.. you shouldn’t care about how much you’re getting because beating him might elevate you... and as for fury is just after the cash no way both can even stand with Joshua . 15m dollars isn’t a small bucks for boyence..
For someone who make less than 3m if they actually want Josh to fight in the state and accept all their contracts give me 5x what he got fighting Klitschko or Parker

Absolutely no qualms with what fish eyes is saying. Everyone is for the fight and whoever isn’t is a hater. However, even if the fight is announced which it will be( AJ vs Povetkin fight week...surprise surprise) you can not tell me even Wilder supporters that you don’t have concerns Tyson will pullout?

As for Hearn continuously doubting the fight comes to fruition he is well in his right to think that as he talked at length with Tyson Fury and Fury informed him of the types of fights he wanted before he stepped up . His mindset could well have changed but you can’t blame Hearn for being Dubious. For all Hearn’s faults he is not bit#chy like so many of these managers and promoters

Eddie is salty AF, evidenced by the fact that he's still talking about Wilder, Fury, and Frank instead of his own guy who is about to have a major fight. Eddie really ***ed himself on this whole deal and continues to do so. Guy needs to go back to marketing AJ instead of himself!! He forgot who the star is.
Yeah .. you won't hear Warren talking about Hearn and AJ when his guy is about to have a major fight .. oh, wait ..

I actually spoke to JO as you call him .Joe by his own admission hates flying and has a massive fear of it .So really stay at home Jo is a apt name for him.Stay at home Joshua doesn't have the same ring!

Your analogy of how Frank Warren is similar to Barry Hearn in protecting their fighters by demanding home-field advantage has some merit,

however your example in which you included Finkle in this and using the 'Bronze-Bomber' to argue your point is flawed : in the fact that Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder was fighting in Mexico for 19th professional contest and would fight abroad four more times before Wilder ever reached his prime.

In Wilder's journey overseas Deontay would face a prime Gold-medalist from the UK, Audley Harrison -- Joshua witness the destruction of his fellow countryman in person, as he was sitting in the front row! ( GIF below as proof )

So that means what?! That Deontay was taking risk overseas before Joshua was even a pro? WOWOWOWOW!!!

As far as Steve Collins is concern, I got to tell you, I don't know much about him ; like you said he was mostly a domestic level fighter.

Still doesn't change the fact that a contract is on wilders table waiting to be signed.
