I hate to praise myself here but this deal wasn't that unexpected lol when I created my profile here, I did it with the purpose of breaking down the T.V. numbers for PBC. I told posters here that he'd get a deal in the $100 million/year range.

I was told I was crazy. That was a few years ago. The numbers told the story the whole time, but for some reason boxing fans are generally opposed to critical thinking lol People just needed to be patient. Nothing was going to happen until the UFC property found it's home.

You get 10 network shows (big fights likely) for "free" that's more than anyone else in combat sports is doing. Al has investors and fighters need to get paid. Again PBC is a business and the fighters have real purse demands (not like the UFC where they get ****d by Dana). I'm happy I have 10 primetime saturday night network shows.

The SHO was the very minimum those aren't a set number. The FOX cards are.

Right, but they usually put on two cards per month to start the year. Heck, even have had months with three cards. I take going monthly meaning they are now going to have no lulls during college football season and the late part of summer and will have something every month.

It's great that the deal includes shoulder programming to promote the fights. Also suggests that the fights shown as part of this deal will include the top-level PBC fighters.

Too bad they will be doing Fox PPV. Even so it's a very good deal for PBC.
