IIRC he rated Fury very highly before he died and even thought he'd be the future of the heavyweight division. (I believe that's verbatim what he said.) In light of that I'd say he'd be very keen to train Fury. However, that was probably before AJ was on the radar. Honestly he probably would have liked to have trained any one of them.
If Manny Steward was still alive...

Well Whyte clocked him pretty bad and he still fought aggressively later in that fight and in other fights after that.Idk man. I think its him getting hit not him hitting other mfers. If you think about it he had a real Tyson-like run on the comeup. Guys were scared of him. He was stopping guys w/o getting hit very much. That Klitschko fight was a whole other animal doe. Besides the Whyte fight it was the only real fight he was in.
And now Joshua has more money & opportunities coming his way then he's ever had. Getting hit in the f#cking head might not seem as worth it when you got 8 digits in the bank & Dr Dre is your homie.
Idk doe like I said I just feel like the guy we saw vs Klitschko isn't the same guy we've seen since. We will see sooner or later whats up.
We'll see though.Comment

Considering that before Manny died, he said the HW's to watch out for in the Future were Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder (both were prospects at the time)
plus, Wilder is American and Manny liked big punchers. So I'd say he would probably train Wilder.Comment

It happened. I believe it was briefly right after he turned pro after the Olympics. Manny was very high on both Deontay and Fury.
EDIT - Sorry, thought the whole video was the interview I saw. But you get the point.Last edited by _Rexy_; 09-05-2018, 08:11 AM.Comment
