HBO budget is barely at 20 now and continuing to be slashed. Arum budget has been bumped up under the renegotiation and will average out to almost 40 a year as the budget increases in the later years, but you're correct it's around 30 right now.

Ring is now reporting new Showtime budget is over 60 and new Fox budget is over 60. So over 120 total right now, and likely to grow.

The DAZN 125 is very deceptive. Deal was announced at 8 years/1 billion, which does average to 125, but only the first 2 years are guaranteed, and there are large jumps in the later years of the deal. So even though it'll average to 125 if the deal lasts all 8 years, the two guaranteed years are much much less than 125, which is why Hearn is getting turned down left and right.

Nice try at humor but that didnt work at all. Good thing you weren't serious or what you said would sound even more ******.

Unlikely, tbh; Showtime has put too much heat behind both sides of that fight for it to happen anywhere else.

Might get Keith Thurman vs Josesito Lopez (Thurman has had too long a layoff, Thurman is a name fighter after the two performances on CBS, Thurman-Lopez is a solid fight but a return fight nonetheless, a win and a good performance puts him back into the mix).

Only three boxers were mentioned when Wall Street Journal broke the news yesterday; Mayweather, Wilder and Spence.

Basically, Al has doubled the dates for his top fighters. Extremely hard to stay active when SHO is only running 15 shows a year. That's the biggest plus in this new deal.
              absolutely correct. **** on.

my guess is anyone reading the Wall Street Journal only new Mayweather anyway. Hence the real problem at the moment with the sport and why these guys need network television and some really good fights. This now has to be built. He's got the platforms, the money and honestly the promoters who sued him early look ******. They should have waited. Now he has a settlement and a summary judgement against monopoly. Oscar and Bob couldn't keep the gun in the holster. Tried to stop him from getting here and true to form, Bob found a port in the storm and Oscar is going to drown when Canelo goes away.

Btw, good call on the 10 FOX primetime cards. Thought it would be closer to the six range not 10.

                    Not necessarily.

Two tiers; Showtime is the first to the table, with FOX/FS1 getting to the table second.

If this 6-month Showtime announcement schedule holds, FOX will announce, or have an idea of what they're getting, parallel to that.

Wilder, Spence, Mikey, Gervonta, Stevenson, Hurd etc will be featured on the Showtime schedule, but David Benevidez (vs Anthony Dirrell is the next fight), Jermall Charlo (Jermell vs Hurd is a big fight that Showtime is building to; with all of the middleweight belts elsewhere and the WBC not rushing things), Elieder Alvarez, Artur Beterbiev (after the two fights owed to DAZN, outside of the Stevenson fight, Beterbiev needs a TV home too), Luis Ortiz (and the rest of the viable heavyweight fighters being primed for shots at Wilder and the eventual undisputed heavyweight champion), and the rest of the young fighters just set to launch (Caleb Plant, Mario Barrios, Regis Prograis, Amanda Serrano) also need a place to call home.

Beyond that, fighters still building their records, like Fabian Maidana, Joey Spencer, Efe Ajagba, and others also are getting to the point where they can use televised appearances to raise their profiles.

Everyone was guessing at the number of fighters with Haymon then, and they're likely still guessing now.

Simply put, Haymon works with a ton of fighters: vets on their way out, prime guys, young guys breaking out, and guys just starting their journeys. The absolute number is unclear, but now, with Showtime/CBS and FOX/FS1, Haymon has more TV opportunities for his fighters to utilize (need to actually sit and do the count, but this may be consolidated down from the combined Showtime/PBC schedules from FY 2015, 2016, or 2017)
