    I think he takes one tune up and then straight to the elite. Even when he has been fighting only once a year like he did in 2016 and 2017, it was at least against top level competition. This time the break has been longer and I think he will want one fight to get the rust off and test his elbow or hand or whatever other injury he suffered during the lay off. Like Spence said, training camps are rough for the kid LOL.

      Honestly he is still basically the prince of 147lb. Will not say King Cuz that's just up in the air at this point.

            Thurman lost against Both

            Against Garcia He was outboxed with Body punches.Garcia took His Stamina and Thurman ended running like the chicken He is calling it defense baby defense. Please.Garcia outpowered Him and if the fight were 15 rounds Garcia could had ended by KO. Porter fight was difficult to score because Porter does not box, is like Salido a Brawler yer Thurman could not find an answer to clearly decide if he was the better man

              Thurman threw more punches and landed more punched in almost every round, in the real world that is. Danny was hesitant when he felt that power early.

                I totally agree with you Keith Thurman is without a doubt the top dog in the welter wgt div.
                Not one of his colleagues has a better resume at welter wgt.
                Yes i know that Spence has the goods & Crawford is skillfully set, ...but at the end of the day Keith is the man to beat. And i'm not a Keith Thurman fan...it is what it is.
                This is how I rate them as of now;

                Thurman
                Spence
                Garcia
                Porter
                Crawford
                ...wow what a stacked division

                    Youre delusional if you think Garcia even gave Thurman one bit of trouble in that fight. Im a fan of his, but Thurman easily won, there is no question. I have no idea what you possibly couldve been watching. Dont let your bias get in the way.

                      There you have it. We have all the makings of having ourselves a very good fight. These two matches up very well together. I am really looking forward to seeing this bout on Saturday night at the Barclay's center.
