But if we are playing make believe?

    Are you kidding me? Lol
Did you see DLH vs Pacquiao? Do you honestly think that version would have done better vs Floyd? I can't wait for this response, since you think Floyd was chicken.

I base DLH vs Floyd on the first and only which I believe the Golden Boy won.

      • Floyd fights as hard as you make him. Oscar didnt make him have to fight very hard. And it was at his weight, with his gloves.

Oscar thought he could con the judges with his arm punch flurries that hit air or mayweather's guard. But the judges didnt buy it and saw mayweather's flush power countershots landing.

Oscar is still salty to this day.

Both started at 130 and have grown naturally like most athletes do as they age. Was floyd forever a 130lber size?? He just went to 147 because the money fights are there? No! They fkn outgrown their divisions. It is only logical to move up otherwise they’d be drained af.
Prime to prime I’d be backing Floyd at 147 to beat Prime Oscar as well if I have to choose a winner. But like I’ve pointed out since the start, it is only understandable and logical for Oscar to think he would’ve done better since he was even able to win 4 rounds at 34 being barely active.

Thing is it never happened and never will. So let’s just see it the way it’s supposed to be seen. Floyd beat a past prime Oscar, and let’s not give him credit like he beat a prime one just because he likely would have.

Pac beat an even more past prime Oscar, to even explain that is idiotic to begin with.

Oscar moved up and fought an older bigger guy and lost. Floyd did it and beat older bigger Oscar.

Some fighters are just better than others. Floyd is better than Oscar.

De la Hoya was 31, moved up 2 pounds to fight 39 year old Hopkins and got knocked out.

Mayweather was 30, moved up 7 pounds, decisioned 34 year old De la Hoya.

De la hoya couldnt overcome a 2lb jump in weight with an 8 year age advantage, but 4 year younger mayweather was too much for him.

Of course Floyd is better than Oscar! I never said he wasn’t.

My only point is Floyd was 30 when he fought Oscar, and Oscar was 34 and barely active in boxing, he managed to win atleast 4 rounds. Don’t you think if they were both 30 he would have done better? Isn’t it somehow understandable and logical for him to believe so?

Floyd only fights as hard as you make him. Floyd might have to work harder with a younger and faster Oscar but his style is still the same and Oscar still gasses in the late rounds. He is never outboxing floyd and he isnt stopping him. I see floyd having to work a bit harder but I dont see Oscar winning more rounds. Especially if we are going at 147 and below.

Please find a quote where I said Oscar would win.

And for him to believe he would win had it happened earlier is understandable since he managed to win 4 rounds later.
Sucks Floyd always get the credit as if he had beaten them in their primes just because he likely would have.
Same story for past his best pac, mosley and oscar.
“Well he would have beaten them in their primes”

                  • I agree with Hoya. I mean, he did beat Floyd but got robbed. I believe him; he’d definitely ko Floyd if he was younger.

Please, it wasn't that close. I can remember about 3 rounds where DLH didnt land a punch. Whatever.

Answer the question about the rematch when you called him a chicken. The fight would have been at 147. DLH would have been made a fool of. He couldn't even run one full lap the day before the fight. IV's didn't help him. Roach said he looked like a ghost. Victor Ortiz and Valero beat the hell out of him sparring. Anyone that bet on DLH to win vs Pac was a fool.
