He just admitted he couldn't be bothered doing it for GGG, but now because the IBF is his only route things are now "different" there really is no other way of looking at it, read the quotes from Jacob lol.
Seems weird the IBF would want Jacobs after he clearly rejected you last time.

Jacob had an option and he took advantage of it during his second weigh in.

In this upcoming fight, he has no option to miss the second weigh in.

Yeah right. You sure that’s the only reason you want him to lose? You sound like a female. He was going against the indestructible GGG everyone thought he would be knocked out. The extra weight probably saved him from being dominated. It was a good plan that didn’t work. Use any trick within the rules that will give you an advantage over your opponent. Triple G had an advantage in just about every category. I do not blame him

Golovkin was 170. Jacobs says he was 173-175.

Go to YouTube, look at the fight, there is no way that Jacobs is just 3-5 pounds heavier than Golovkin. Personally I think he looked 180-185 which is what a large Super MW weighs on fight night.

That's right, Jacobs is right when he says it's his own choice and own right to skip this weigh in and the IBF belt.

BUT BUT BUT, the problem is GGG as the IBF champ couldn't skip it and couldn't have that "rest" that Jacobs took and therefore they weren't on an "even playing field".

It was a close fight, but despite the fact that Jacobs lost by a close margin I'm not mad about DJ not having a rematch because he had that unfair (but legal) advantage.

Don't know if you guys ever had made weight (I did a bit with boxing and a quite a lot with judo) that sht weakens you both mentally and physically. Jacobs is right, what is more draining energy is the stress about officially making weight.

It was pretty clear that Jacobs had a significant size advantage in that fight but ultimately he still lost.

So IBF stripped GGG of their belt to make a match up where a guy who ignored/avoided their rules for that very same belt will be the favorite and probably next champ.

THis missing to be a sanctioning body for a big PPV fight between the 2 highest ranked middleweight fighting for the lineage.

                CONG**** IBF

" Use any trick within the rules " well the rules were a 2nd day weigh in and Jacobs didn't show up so that to me is breaking the rules

This guy acting like he exposed Golovkin and the supposed myth about his power but he got dropped on his arse, hard. Now he contradicts himself about the weight, I didn't skip the weigh in for an advantage but I wanted to play to my size strength. GTFOH

Why didn't Jacobs clarify before the fight that he had no intention of doing 2nd day weigh in?
Because he wanted an unfair advantage
