This is good news for PBC when they first started people were expecting it to fail and talked about it losing Showtime money. And here we are they are getting a 3 year extension. I think this is a win for boxing fans in general!!

Why? It made no sense to stop the SHO relationship. Even better, they will be on both networks opening up more dates that will keep the top guys more active.

Yeah I want them on both and maybe even a 3rd network. I want to see guys like Spence fight 3-4 times a year.

Yes the top cards but I also meant fs1 and was just saying numbers wise I believe in 2017 fs1 hosted more pbc fights than Showtime.

Specifics aren't given out about this deal will showtime and fox work together? imagine charlo vs hurd charlo is being pushed by fox and hurd is being pushed by showtime evenly matched fights where both fighters can eventually become mega stars

Miller was already with Eddie, not a Showtime or HBO guy — not contracted with either.

Vargas is a decent fighter, hardly an attraction either Showtime or HBO would care much about. B-side at mid-level.

Garcia hasn’t signed. Manny has few options for his farewell tour, we’ll see. But he hasn’t fought on Showtime or HBO for a while, probably isn’t PPV level anymore really, and Top Rank sees he’s now on that downslide where he demands more than can be made promoting him.

Once the FOX deal gets done for next year, you will get free boxing.

And there were plenty of complaints with some moron journalist always mocking the freeeeeeeeeeee with his articles and tweets. The argument first was quality>free, but now the question is why isn't the PBC free? Well, part of PBC will be free. More importantly, as long as they continue to deliver high level cards, that's all that should matter.

Of course I can enjoy fights on Fox. I pay a cable bill like everyone else. Not sure how that is free.
