well why did wilder "accept" hearn's offer, but not sign the contract? when the revenue increases, which it will if they both keep winning, the fight will get made. I don't think the fight happening in 2018 was ever the plan.

Hope you know that AJ didn't and still hasn't signed that contract either. I believe Wilder and his people were ready to go as soon as September, I just don't see a team going through all that trouble of securing funds, broadcasters, etc... for a farce. Unless you believe it was a plot that both parties are in on, which is of course possible, but highly improbable.

yea, both parties are doing the same thing. all these "accepted" offers and no signed contracts...the back and forth in the media, blaming the other side. this fight was never happening in 2018. I saw a piece of Hearn's interview where he said his father sent Shelly an e-mail and he got not no response. Said the question was about the terms that were agreed upon and what they need to change.

I mean why the hell would Shelly or anyone from Wilder's camp respond now? Like the entire complexion of the fight changes after he fights Fury. Either he wins and gets a completely different contract, or he loses and rematches Fury next. Not sure what Eddie and his pops are doing right now. Revisit the fight after both of their respective bouts.
