What I said was Jacobs leaving SHO for HBO made sense because he was fighting in a weight class HBO controls.

As for DAZN, Hearn has picked up every world champion he could, but it's just a bunch of guys with belts nobody in America has heard of or cares about. The real test is whether Hearn can get name fighters people care about to jump ship. So far, he hasn't been able to. That doesn't mean he won't be able to. We'll have to see.

I don't work for SHO anymore. I sell my fights to DAZN. I'm rooting for DAZN.
Lol .. you just described every current US world champion!

That proves it then .. Hearn pays better than Haymon and Sulaiman put together!

andrade turned down about 20 fights over the last 5 years and he convinces him to sign with dazn and fight saunders who has a very tricky style. what did he do to andrade! we could have a get out scenario on our hands!

Some of them would be willing to fight three times a year if there were three big names for big money, which isn't realistic. Hearn preached and preached about activity when he signed Jacobs, but how many times has Jacobs fought per year with HBO? And Hearn hasn't gotten him any big names yet.

Charlo is having to wait for GGG/Canelo winner to vacate. Gervonta has a big fight in October. Mikey has already had two big fights and would have had a third, but he wants to fight on PPV, which is why he's being told 2019 now.

Haymon fighters can fight as often as they want, they simply prefer to wait for bigger paydays. Mikey was offered a Showtime date in December. He turned it down because he'd rather have a SHO PPV date in March.

Haymon has never paid me. Sulaiman has never paid me. Hearn has never paid me. I was working with DAZN long before Hearn.

The money Hearn has offered Al's top fighters is less than Al is already paying them.

He's growing slowly and surely, let's review in a years time and see how he has progressed? Starting from nothing you wouldn't expect him to be level with some others within only 12 months - in my view he hasn't had a bad start but does need a couple of stellar signings. The WBSS is a real coup and wish we had that in the U.K.

I'm interested to see if the inclusion on DAZN increases any popularity in the other countries too as i am assuming they will be shown exclusively within the other countries with DAZN apps too?
There is only 1 or 2 PPVs per year. DAZN is pretty much $120 a year. DAZN is great for other countires not being the USA. Other countries also get to stream MLB,NBA and some NFL along with boxing. In the US we would pay $9.99 a month to watch the app 2 or 3 Saturdays of the month for a few hours. DAZN US has nothing to offer US suscribers on other days that there is no boxing. I pay for Netflix, Spotify, Prime and Showtime app because I can use them everyday at anytime to listen or watch something I want.

I'm not American, but I've worked in combat sports in America for decades.

Andrade is not a massive star. I have no idea where you got that impression. He was stuck in a contract with a minor league promoter and was constantly inactive or unable to get big fights or dates.

He has 50 thousand followers on instagram. Gervonta Davis has 1 MILLION followers on instagram. To say Andrade is a massive star is absolutely ludicrous.

Dear lord! Don't joke about it ... I've heard Boston is the whitest city in the whole US!

Let's hope Andrade gets out of there alive ...

Jacobs has had 3 fights in a year with HBO. Hearn couldnt do a thing about the Canelo/Golovkin stuff. Got him a title shot, and got a situation where he at least gets a unification with the Saunders/Andrade winner in his next fight.

Espinoza himself said theres no fights in October. The only card between Porter/Garcia and Fury/Wilder would be a Shields/Hammer card.

If Mikey was happy about sitting out til 2019 he wouldnt be seeing what Pacquiao has to say

Tevin Farmer has never been a headline fighter. Never been a priority for any network. All the guys that are signing with Hearn to fight on DAZN are fighters who don't sell tickets and were undercard fighters. As soon as Farmer went to DAZN everyone knew the Davis fight was dead.
