At this point GGG has more "What If" good fights than actual fights. Everyone I was looking forward to got delayed, canceled over money, or canceled over some "Extra Stipulations" to favor ggg. I still to this day wonder why Saunders just doesnt tell him to *** off after the sht they pulled on him the 1st time... Life changing money that was Lemuix money. $6,000,000 my ass.

It's a mandatory. Golovkin loses his belt if he doesn't fight Canelo. That said it'd be disingenuous to try to claim that Golovkin doesn't care about the money. Of course he does. Whether he cares about it more that Canelo or other fighters is beyond my knowledge.

Sure the WBC "ordered" a rematch but it was not mandatory in the true since. Otherwise GBP would have used that as leverage in negotiations and the WBC, who seems to unfairly favor Alvarez, never made any announcement regarding what would happen if the two didn't fight.

My point, and I think its a perspective others share is that GGG talked a lot of ***** about fighters choosing money fights over legacy fights and mandatories when he was the one being left out in the cold. Now that he's in a similar position, he's doing the same thing he talked ***** about. He's also talking ***** to Alvarez as if he can get the type of pay day he's getting by fighting anybody other than Alvarez.

You only see a few athletes sacrifice money for glory in their mid to late thirties. Karl Malone being an example, took chump change to chase an NBA ring. Everyone else typically looks at that last contract as a retirement fund. The way you look at life at 25 and 30 is a seriously a lot different than you look at it at 35..at 35 you are looking down the barrel at middle age, for an athlete they are having talks of retirement thrown at them from every single angle imaginable.

Yeah, whatever chief. They could be on their third fight, instead of their second if not for Clenelo. And I suppose that Alvarez is getting nothing for fighting Golovkin, one of the most avoided boxers out there, with the highest KO ratio in the MW division? Alvarez can't make more money against any other boxer out there right now. Stop acting like this is a charity case.

Honestly if look at just resume I would think GGG's is the 27 year olds and Canelo the 37 year old...

Oh I have no problem with what he did. Just like I have no problem with folks that want to call him a hypocrite for talking down on folks that secured their financial future before chasing legacy fights.

Actually Golovkin has been doing both; saying that he won't leave it to the judges and getting under Canelo's skin. Why not? Alvarez has been doing the same thing or at least trying to. They both will need to take chances if they intend to settle it before the last bell.

Golovkin has also been saying for years that he wanted a big ppv fight so it's not like suddenly he became about money. He had both dreams unfortunately running parallel to each other, at least for now.
