you even asking for 3:1 odds shows that you know khan does not = brook. And you're asking for those odds after brook has already had his face broken twice so you know the undefeated version of him would've massacred khan.Comment

Well since you started off a coupla posts ago by saying it was a voluntary defense by Golovkin the point is kinda moot since an ordered rematch is clearly not voluntary.
When they order a match it is both by definition and rule a mandatory defense. Charlo also occupies the position of mandatory challenger but will have to await his place in the rotation (ie after the WBA defense) since the ordered (ie mandatory) rematch takes precedence.
mandatory
ˈmandət(ə)ri/

adjective: mandatory
1. required by law or mandate; compulsory.

I believe that. Which is why he wasn't considered for May. They immediately asked the IBF for a waiver. But with Wade...house arrest or no....they were gonna get that mando out of the way.Comment

By the first week of March both teams knew Alvarez was getting suspended. Dervy was NOT the first opponent considered. Tbh, the waiver may have been granted if Team Golovkin didnt insist on pulling a JMW out of mothballs. If he fights Andrade or Saunders in June he wouldn't have gotten the provisions levied on him that got him stripped. In what world does a mandatory get enforced for a short notice fight cuz the original opponent dropped out? Yes he coulda fought derevyanchenko instead of vanes and satisfied the mandatory, but he got stripped cuz he chose to fight canelo once his suspension was up...which wouldn't have happen if Canelo didn't **** up the originally scheduled fight.
Alvarez put him in a tough spot, but the decisions made in that tough spot revealed that money was more important than belts. Which is ok to me.Comment

Never said I disagree with the decision. We have to call it what it is. We also have to acknowledge that the decision contradicts his past rants about not being a businessman and being all about the belts.Comment

They ordered the rematch such that the fight could take place before Charlo got his shot. Which I believe would have been due this summer had there been a winner. GGG would not have been stripped had he not fought Alvarez in September.Well since you started off a coupla posts ago by saying it was a voluntary defense by Golovkin the point is kinda moot since an ordered rematch is clearly not voluntary.

That's straight Bullshet! Fact is people hatin' on Nelo doing just that hatin' unless its about the Clen. that was in his system & should be no more than that. lil g on the other hand is a fake hype job period but gets praised as a great fighter after losing to Jacobs & Nelo the ONLY 2 good fighters lil g has EVER fought on the pro level.well if were being real and looking at it objectively wouldnt u say its a legacy fight also, considering ggg has being avoided like the plague for many years hasnt he earned the right to take on canelo and cement his legacy. As i say people looking at it there own way to fit their own narrative. its cool if people want to pick up any isolated comment or incident and break it down to its bone but facts are people hating on ggg are generally just angry canelo fans whereas people hating on canelo is down to facts..if we're being real here
