That's not the issue, canelo point is that they say they don't care about money when all they care about is money... The fight was close to not being made because triple beg threw a bit.ch fit because of the money! Canelo conceeded and the fight got made!!! What's so hard to see? If anything, based on the favt canelo is now on record giving in to ggg 160 demand for fight 1 and giving in to ggg money demands for fight 2. It seems that canelo is the one making the fights for the fans and for his legacy. He wants to be the one to take those belts and take that 0 and my God that's going to be sweet if he does.

Canelo acts like he wasn't the one talking crap about Golovkin in the first place. On the contrary, Golovkin's the quiet one. He was obviously upset that one time he went off for Canelo failing two tests. He went back to being quiet and going about his work which left Abel to do the talking for him. Golovkin's a fighter at heart and this fight was meant to be just that, a fight. Canelo wants to brush away the fact that he failed two PED tests. He's brushing it under the carpet when in reality it was extremely unprofessional, he cost GGG time and money, and fans that had made plans for May 5 were forced to change things and cancel their trips.

Golovkin has all the right to be upset. He came into the States in 2012 seeking high profile fights. He finally got one in 2017 and would have had another one in May had it not been for Canelo failing two drug tests. It's ridiculous how Canelo wants to act so nonchalantly about what he did. You can forgive the guy, yes, but for him to act like GGG and team are upset for no reason is just ignorant.

As i say people looking at it there own way to fit their own narrative. its cool if people want to pick up any isolated comment or incident and break it down to its bone but facts are people hating on ggg are generally just angry canelo fans whereas people hating on canelo is down to facts..if we're being real here
It's not about how we as fans look at it in this circumstance, it's how GGG looks at it. Can it be a legacy fight if he believes Alvarez to be a drug cheat? Is it a legacy fight to him if he decided give me 50-50 or I will fight Saunders?

Its funny, people have been using facts to form and explain their opinion of GGG. They use his statements, his decisions, his fight results. Yet you ignore those and claim they are just "angry canelo fans" who are hating. Seems to me, you just don't want to acknowledge that GGG isn't the perfect fighter that K2 marketed him to be (and you believed).
