For me the build up has stopped being entertaining and ended up with both boxers moaning at each other.

I’ll watch the fight, as you say both are great boxers, but don’t think it’s done either of them any favours in terms of winning new fans.

I mean, the first fight wasn't horrible, but others hyped it up and nothing happened. The only good thing I see coming out of this is one of them getting careless while trying to hurt the other, then we'll have a fight on our hands.
      What he said!

        Let's be real here.
well if were being real and looking at it objectively wouldnt u say its a legacy fight also, considering ggg has being avoided like the plague for many years hasnt he earned the right to take on canelo and cement his legacy. As i say people looking at it there own way to fit their own narrative. its cool if people want to pick up any isolated comment or incident and break it down to its bone but facts are people hating on ggg are generally just angry canelo fans whereas people hating on canelo is down to facts..if we're being real here

So Canelo fights for the money, and Golovkin said he respects boxing and is no businessman. So him saying that he wants more money after Canelo blew the Cinco De Mayo date with his failed drug tests, makes Golovkin a hypocrite? Gotcha.

ODLH put up his own money due to canelo not wanting to play ball!!! you call that stepping up?
Yes I do call that stepping up! You are quick to criticize canelo (like he gives a dammnn) but won't acknowledge that both fights happened because canelo wanted them to happen. So you truly believe that canelo is scared of being trolled in Mexico and thats why he was forced to fight lil g? Thats funny and delusional

Well he didn't outright drop it. Of course he wanted the money, and to right a wrong he felt he was handed. He still might be able to become undisputed, but no one is going to turn a Canelo fight down. And yes he was willing though. Pretty sure it was confirmed by both parties that if Canelo fell through, BJS was next. So he definitely was willing to walk away.

[QUOTE=Robi13;19055259]Yes I do call that stepping up!

Canelo took the fight cause he had nowhere to run!!! he ducked for 2-3 years with BS catchweight fights!
call it like it is! the pressure was so bad that he had no choice! Stepping up tu culo! he was forced by the media and fans to take the fight! than he gets caught cheating! what a way to step it up!
