Canelos Team trying to rewrite history. Unbiased HBO judge had GGG winning 8-4, which most people also saw, or 7-5 for GGG. To give Canelo a draw, you literally had to give every close round to Canelo, which doesn’t happen when you are the challenger trying to take the titles from GGG. Canelo might have made GGG miss some punches, but the fact remains GGG outlanded Canelo in 10 of 12 rounds. If you make someone miss, you also have to counter and Land your own punches, which Canelo did not do over most of the fight. GGG clearly won the first fight and should also win the rematch, unless Canelo does something totally different like trying to land more punches than GGG

... the first time they both fought over-cautiously, only having in mind even more money in a rematch (and/or a possible trilogy)...
... but countless ****** fans can't stop arguing about "who won that fight"...
sad...

I've only seen this fight once, the night it happened, so I probably need to see it again. But, it was clear at the time that ggg couldnt/didnt cut off the ring. He looked unsure of himself when Canelo hit him up with those beautiful counter flurries. It was a spectacle never seen before in any of Golovkins fights. Granted, he is "older", but signs of the 'right style' to defeat him were seen in the Kassim Ouma fight......
GGG didnt have a sustained anything in his fight with Canelo, except looking like a guy trying to press the action with a strong jab that missed its target - a lot. Neither guy had their opponent in any real danger whatsoever, and its usually ggg the one who has his opponent on the brink of disaster, with the usual eventual take out! There was nothing remotely close to that in their fight....
Ggg looked confused in what was supposed to be his version of 'ring generalship'. Canelo looked relaxed backing up with really nice (to me) counters & flurries. Coming forward doesnt always mean "controlling the fight", neither does backing up for that matter.....but the backing up looked just as effective! I think the big question will be (because nelo PROVED ALREADY he can hang with G): did DRUGS have anything to do with Canelos effectiveness?? If he loses this go around (g will also be older AND slower), Canelos legacy will suffer big time, because at this stage of the game ggg can't come with anything new....

Old news.
I understand, nobody’s talking, super busy deep in preparation.
This fight is somebody’s train wreck that has become a legacy fight, who’s great and who was thought to have been great.
Tears will be shed some in Joy others in sorrow.
We don’t need PEDs, cuts, low blows, sorry ref, and we don’t need wretched low down ****** JUDGES!!!!!!!
We need a beat down then a decisive KO!
