Weeks is either corrupt or incompetent, maybe both. He should never be allowed to referee any boxing match.

Im a Ward fan but he should of been warned on a couple of them and the stoppage was just bizarre. In a championship PPV fight with 2 P4P guys Ive never seen a TKO while still standing???

No ref is perfect but I'll admit Weeks has dropped the ball TWICE in big fights. 1st was all the excessive fouling he allowed maidanas and mayweather to do in their 1st fight 2nd was the weird stoppage of kov. Even though I think kov was gonna lose or get stopped eventually, he wasnt out on his feet or taking any defenseless blows to the head. He was just crouched over trying to sell it as of he was hurt from being hit low.

Bayless doesn't let's fighters fight, consistently tells guys to "keep them up" when they throw body shots & sometimes too eager to stop a fight.

Byrd woulda been great but his wife f*vcked it up.

Maidana literally kneed Floyd in the fight and Weeks didn't even penalize him. WTF was ya'll watching? Maidana was dirty as **** in that fight

Funny there's only golovkin's side objecting about things; Alvarez could have objected to Moretti seeing as he scored for GGG in the first fight.

Exactly. You know how this works. You probably have some inside contacts. Thanks for confirming for everyone that the NSAC works on corruption, bias, and grudges. As if we didn't already know. Weeks is corrupt and/or biased, it was plain as day to see. He used to be a good ref, he reffed Floyd-Maidana I fairly, the first fairly reffed Floyd fight in years. That resulted in an actual close fight with Floyd where he took some shots, so Floyd complained to the commission he runs, the NSAC, who in turn punished Weeks for it by not giving him a big assignment for years. The only time they finally brought Weeks back was when Vegas finally had a fighter with a messy style that they actually wanted to beat the clean boxer, the opposite of Floyd-Maidana. And that fight was, of course, Kovalev-Ward II.

Weeks learned his lesson, did exactly what the NSAC wanted by gifting the fight to Ward, and the rest is history. He's a compromised ref. If he was a real person he would whistleblow what is going on in the NSAC to the media and expose the whole thing.
