No I agree from a competitive perspective I couldn’t agree more. I’m not a whyte fan I thought Parker would smash him to bits but Whyte is in a good place now in terms of on the cusp of a title fight in virtually all the major organisations. For him especially from a monetary perspective why pursue Ortiz when he is closer to Joshua or fighting Manuel char and actually being a belt holder.

Let me reiterate this no one in England wants to see Joshua and Whyte 2. I don’t think even Hearn could sell us that fight. Even if Whyte beat Ortiz. There is no value in Ortiz. Whyte is better off fighting the loser of Fury vs Wilder. The loser would fight him as he is highly rated and I think Whyte needs that marquee name on his resume

For sure, if he beats Fury a lot more casual fans in the UK will know who he is, and many will call on their Good Knight (Joshua) to go avenge this troublesome, noisy Yank.

It for sure raises Wilders negotiating position above the current 15m.

Currently Joshua can get away with dodging Wilder as Wilder is fairly unknown in the UK (to the casuals), but that all changes after a Fury fight.

So less flexibility for Joshua to dodge Wilder + Wilder having a better negotiating position - Hearn must be hating this lol.

Fury vs Wilder is the best thing that can happen in the division. When or if that fight takes place everything will fall into place. Either Tyson or Wilder will face Joshua in April 100% or Joshua povetkin2( no chance)

It's funny how some fans forget that the WBC cancelled the fight, but still blame Wilder. Povetkin again blew a chance to fight Wilder with the Stiverne eliminator, and tested dirty again.
What is also funny is Hearn and AJ protested and lobbied to get Ortiz banned and off the WBA mandatory list, but seemed to have no problem with Povetkin, who also tested dirty twice.

Wilder will I agree but it will be fun whilst it lasts. I think Whyte is crazy enough to think he could beat wilder and will give it a go. Him and Ortiz have the mindset to get inside wilder and seriously hit in with mean intentions. However seeing what Parker done to Whyte in the 12th if I’m thinking from a logical perspective Whyte doesn’t stand a chance .

As for Usyk he is a fantastic boxer and hopefully he carries his power with him. My only main concern is whether he can take a punch from the big hitters. I think now if he fights Fury even if he stays at his cruiserweight weight he becomes the lineal champion. My worry is whether he can take a fully fledged punch . I saw Gassiev hit him in the 2nd/3rd round in the only time he was actually hit in the fight and he turned Gassiev round and put him in the doggy position. Gassiev hit him so hard Usyk thought he was in bed with his mrs
