Did you just start watching boxing yesterday? Hopkins was undisputed long before he beat De La Hoya.

The WBO has existed since 1988, but it took decades to gain acceptance. Mike Tyson, Buster Douglas, Evander Holyfield, Rid**** Bowe and Lennox Lewis were all undisputed world champions without the WBO, even though the WBO existed.

        LMAO

The first fight you saw was Hagler Leonard - in 1987. Kinda late to the game. You're too young to know anything about the sport's history or tradition, Junior.

I'm older than you - and more importantly - I respect the sport of boxing, its rules and its *traditions*.

You, OTOH, are the worst example of fanboi'ism gone wrong. Go get your diaper changed, Junior. You smell like ****. Lol..

Can you understand why older posters don't really acknowledge the WBO and all the other sanctioning bodies I mentioned?

FWIW, I felt the same with the IBF and I personally know some of the IBF guys as the organization is New Jersey based.

I don't think he realizes how frequently WBO belts were vacated during the early years. I also don't know if he realizes why ODH went after Sturm and the WBO belt-and how many felt he lost that fight. I know I did.

Ok, well then, I'm pretty surprised by your uncontrollable bias since you've been a fan longer than I.

He re-established lineage when he beat Tito, but he wasn't undisputed as long as the WBO title was out there with another titlist. You fail. Try again.

Hmmmm, so new Doctors and surgeons don't know how to medically help people or perform life saving surgeries by that logic. You're a winner there.

Lol @ your embarrassing maturity level. Pitiful.

Lol @ fanboism, as in it's not a word. Nor does calling me a fanboy have any merit whatsoever. Zero. None.

Keep em coming. This is fun.
