      fighting a guy ranked 4th
Cook was going to fight Brook, then they switched it to Eggington when Brook pulled out.
3 weeks before the fight Eggington said he wouldnt fight him, he is now facing TBA.

Cook was already in a camp and just has to add an extra week to it. not a great fight but it's not as last minute as it seems.

Agree with the logic, but for a $60ppv it’s a pretty **** fight

A poor fight, although tbh I wasn't expecting anything else with the 2 main fights for the card already set. When he faces a bigger name/top 5 opponent it'll be a main event not an undercard fight. I would've liked him to have an extra month rest instead of this and face someone more testing in October/November, but I get that he wanted to be on the big September card, and that GBP didn't want to spend much on an undercard opponent or having another tough fight 9 weeks after his last one.

Blah. I like Mungia, but I don't wanna see him fight THIS bad. He could've waited or had this fight in Mexico towards the end of the year.

Felt bad for Cook losing his spot on that show at the last minute not once but twice, glad he's getting an even bigger opportunity instead

This undercard is showcase fights not good fights. I'd prefer it if Munguia kept stepping his opposition up but fighting Cook on a PPV card is its own experience in itself.

It's his fifth fight this year. Probably still the third best guy he's faced so far.

Why is Jaime Munguia fighting the starting Wide Receiver of the Los Angeles Rams?
