Probably not. But Ramirez has no fans, no hype, and no interest from anyone really. He's also in a pretty weak division at the moment. Therefore, no one really complains much. Basically no one really cares about him, so no one pays attention.
Arum wanted him to fight Korobov and Rocky Fielding and Zurdo turned them down. When you're so bad you even turn down Arum's handpicked 'old guy 2 divisions smaller than you' and 'no name Brit who got KTFO in 1 round in his only meaningful fight' opponents it's a worry. In anybody in the top 20 ever going to be low-risk enough for him?
He reminds me of Chavez Jr at 160 where you look at him and struggle to see if he's actually doing anything in an above average way or just winning fights with physicality. I think he's a good fighter but not sure what his future career path is. Fighting randoms until the weight cut gets so hard he comes in drained and one of them beats him, move to 175 and get beat by the guys there who are bigger and levels above him in skill?
His record is pretty bad for a world champion and as of now he is a weak champion but he has a few good wins and his record is far from the worst 38 and 0 record. For instance if you take Wilder's first 38 wins and stop there Wilder had defeated nobody anywhere nears as good as the best few wins Zurdo has. Zurdo is better than DeGale at 168. Abraham and Hart were good wins and better wins than any of Wilder's first 38 wins.
