I guess it's impressive that after Ortiz beat the shyt out of Wilder he found a way to put him down. I think it's the beating Wilder took from Ortiz making him take such a long break from boxing now.

Smaller, average power and no real boxing craft. Very poor assessment which I think starts with a little Wilder hate.

So I'm not a big Wilder fan either but I'm curious to know what puts him off for you other than him being from the greatest country in the world?
      Stiverne has a longer reach..

      Luis Ortiz
      Reach: 198.1cm

      Bermane Stiverne
      Reach: 203.2cm

If you're going to speak absolute bulls**t, at least check it for glaringly obvious holes before you present it.

EDIT - And you said something about the US being awesome, but I couldn't hear you over the gunshots in the background. Was this one a school, or a mall?

Even Ortiz himself says that he respects Wilder but doesn't respect Joshua because Joshua won't answer his call.

Luis Ortiz has fired massive shots at Anthony Joshua & Eddie Hearn
You're the one who said it, so own up to it.

Joshua doesn't really call people out, it's not his style. So him not calling Ortiz out is neither here nor there.

At no point could Joshua fight Ortiz. So it doesn't matter any way. If so, when could Joshua face Ortiz?

I said it thinking that I was talking to somebody smart enough to understand what I was saying.

I see now that that was not the case.

And Ortiz himself told you what happened when he reached out to Hearn & Joshua, hence why he said what he said, so whatever.

Forget about thinking, you made a statement. You just don't want to own up to it.

At which point could Joshua face Ortiz? Ortiz reaching out to Hearn means nothing when Joshua never had a chance to face him.

I was very impressed by Wilder. On that night, Ortiz looked like he could've beaten anybody in the world, and almost did. I wasn't particularly happy with the doctor jumping in the ring to delay the round, as that makes it looks like Deontay's people don't have faith in him, but, all in all, it does a little to help even out Ortiz being on steroids. I still think Wilder would've won, but he would've taken more punishment in the process, unfortunately. But that's the game. They need better oversight over steroid use. Almost everyone's on it, and that is deadly. I've fought someone on steroids, and you end up taking serious damage almost no matter what happens.

With that being said, I agree that, for the time being, Ortiz is the second best heavyweight in the world. I believe Ortiz would beat Joshua, Fury, Povetkin, and practically anybody else not named Deontay Wilder. He has serious skills for being such a strong, big dude. Unfortunately for him, however, most dudes will duck him until he's well into his 40s and past it, so it's likely that, as is the case with many Cuban defectors, he won't ever get to shine.

Wilder may still be learning how to box, but he has the ultimate weapon on him. I've never seen a puncher like him. I think that, as time passes, he will develop into the undisputed champion.

He did what he was supposed to do...beat a fat, nearly 40 year old contender who had never been tested before.

Any fighter who survives being hit with a great shot whether put down or still standing deserves respect. And anyone who wasn't impressed by the punishment that Wilder took without going down is a Joshua fan and part of the JDB Unit. Lol
