If he wanted Polish why not Kownacki or Szpilka ? They may not be as much of a 'legend' but would have been good fights at least for this awful card.

Szpilka is rater 30 on boxrec and is completely unknown apart from fighting Wilder. Adamek is rated 15 and actually is well known.

I'm not a Hearn fan, but people seem to be shitting on this fight because they hate Hearn imo. There have been much worse mismatches in recent years. MUCH worse

Maybe 7 years ago it wouldn't be a mismatch but Adamek has been finished since he was ko'd by the great Vitali Klitschko in 2011 I believe

Well, lucky for Adamek, Miller is the most feather fisted 300 pound man I have ever seen.
Miller does move well for his size, but he isn’t an explosive puncher by any means.

Agree. I think Miller is a limited, actually kind of dull fighter that has nice ring awareness and good movement, but has no real speed, very minimal snap behind his punches and does not take conditioning serious in the least. I get he will never be cut or anything, but he sure should be tighter with more stamina than what he has shown. He has made himself marketable with a fantastic personality, fun sense of humor, and intelligent presentation.

In other words: Exactly what boxing needs out of the ring. But I think he is a fringe top 10 HW who loses to any of the top 6-7 guys. Luckily, Adamek is not one of those guys.

I understand why it's happening but I'm saying there are way more interesting and competitive fights than Adamek, who at this stage, is far past his best and even at his best is not a good heavyweight
