    Damn.

Now Joshua is gonna fight Wilder, just to duck Charles Martin.

AJ got lucky the first time, but a motivated Charles Martin is pretty much unbeatable. Maybe Ali, Lewis, possibly Tyson beat him, but no one from this era.

I still think the main reason Charles lost that fight to AJ was those tight a$$ trunks he had on. Seriously who picked those trunks for him...lol

Also pulled for Darroll "Doin' Damage" Wilson, another heavyweight from that era and from the AC area. Wilson gave Briggs his first "L", kayoing him in the 3rd round. Darroll wasn't a big heavyweight and couldn't take a punch well but he could throw some dynamite.

his fight with Tabalala or whatever his name was epic.........

Courage Tsabalala. I'll never forget that name. At the time, Tsabalala was a highly touted prospect with only 1 loss and this fight was on TNF. I watched it live as Rudy Battle(one of the all time great underrated refs) could have stopped it after Wilson attempted to get up and fell back down but he let it continue. Wilson later figured he was gonna have to fight back and he ended up knocking out Tsabalala. This was in an era that Boxing after Dark was still new and you had PPV worthy fights for free on on that show as what is considered an HBO type fight was TNF type back then. Things definitely have changed.

Ortiz is irrelevant. He is Deontay’s sloppy seconds. What does he prove fighting him? .... There is no money in the fight. British fans don’t know him so it wont be a big thing if it was held in the U.K. Ortiz has a semi buzz in the states. However AJ vs Ortiz is not good enough for PPV there.

That’s why I understood when Wilder didn’t want to entertain Whyte because what does he prove by beating him. Joshua has already done so.He stands nothing to gain. Just like Joshua thumping up Ortiz what does he gain?
