How ironic that you call me tunnel vision, when that's exactly the crap your typing. And what he said doesn't really mean anything because it was all "if" this and that happened, what happened outside of the ring means nothing when we're talking about just the sport.
What stats do tell us is that the fight didn't get to the 15th and Ali has the win.
"**** your facts and stats"
Ye **** what really happened because you're not a fan of Ali, don't understand people who have this tunnel vision and are incapable of seeing anything other than what they think is right.
Tunnel vision is jumping straight to the conclusion i dislike i fighter because i don't kiss their arse every statement i make about them. I have a huge framed picture of Ali in my gym, not Frazier FYI.
The stats tell us Ali won and is possibly the greatest ever. The stats DON'T tell us that Ali was a bee's **** away from losing and being just a very good heavyweight.
Stats tell us that a fighter with a 30-0 record LOOKS like a great undefeated fighter.
Anyway, look up the Dunning-Kruger effect, as i think you suffer from it.Comment

In my opinion Robinson was just fighting for his basic survival. He was not truly prepared for most of his last fights. Just missing the adrenaline of the ring and the few hundred it can put in your pocket can be tempting when your out of cash. In my experience if you are not properly prepared and your lined with a nothin' burger than you just eat the ****. But if you get lined with a guy who can fight, and you arrive ill prepared for war than it could get ugly in a few rounds, once your gas tank is dry. Robinson was a man of class, in and out of the ring. He was just trying to survive financially at the end. Still, you just gotta love Ray Robinson...…..Rockin'

We dont agree that often but im 100% with you on this one, if floyd fought 180 odd fights, up to 22 times in one year with the training ideas of that era, the poor diets they thought worked, well im sure floyd wouldnt cope at allComment

I actually fought on a card with Pedroza. He came up to Galaxy, just to loosen up good/throw his arms around a bit, before the fight but I was training and could just admire from a far. Most successful title defenses in a row. Just for the record, Archie Moore had 219 fights, 186 wins, 132 KOs, 23 losses with 7 by KO, and 10 draws in a 27.5 year career. So let's not forget the Old Mongoose.
And Willie Pep was 229 wins, 11 losses, and 1 draw. So we can't forget him either.Comment
