He has fought champions and will fight another fighter in Povetkin that is ranked 3 . Wilder has fought 1 mandatory in 3 years. I don’t really compare there opponents because their resume is relatively similar but I put it like this One fighter has fought 39 bums for over 10 years and the other has fought 20 bums for 5 years but somehow has more belts and more money. I won’t ask the question

Wilder seems to do most of his matchmaking by getting angry in interviews. If the deal got so close last time that all it needed was "minor alterations" from Finkel last time and a national stadium has now been booked Wilder would be a lot better served by trying to finalise the terms rather than do this.

Wilder makes a lot of noise, but aside from the $50m offer which was a good while ago now and based on a US fight which Joshua has rejected, I've never really seen his side putting offers forward or making a serious effort to get the fight made. Obviously Hearn is more than happy with this arrangement.

Washed up Ortiz? You mean the guy he just last cold knocked out that went the distance with Parker? Ya that guy

Povetkin shouldn’t even be in the top 10. Over half his wins came from when he was on the juice yet folks still prop him up. Why? In fact I’d like for him to be at the bottom of the list until he can prove a valuable opponent when off the juice

Bottom line...this fight will either happen or it won't. If Wilder does fight Fury and wins, then the rematch so this will take AJ/Wilder to what? November 2019??? If that doesn't happen then AJ will have his next round of mandatories (IBF - early 2020???) then Wilder will have either retired or been beaten. We will all be frustrated as ****, but that's sport.

I don't think its AJ that will get found out first, it will be Wilder. The cracks in the armour have been exposed by Ortiz, all it needs is someone else to open them up and take him out.

That being said, AJ isn't unbeatable. Wlad should have beaten him. Whyte could have beaten him. Povetkin CAN beat him.

All the others; Parker didn't really show up. Martin, Breazeale and Molina caused no problems, no one has really caused him any problems despite all of the 0's and titles he's taken. I remember all the hype around the Gary Cornish fight. Bigger man, longer reach...boom, out in 64 seconds or something...not even long enough to finish my beer! Really, AJ's record is 3-0 (Wlad, Whyte and Parker), Wilder is 1-0 (Ortiz).

Best line of that article - "Wilder is bothered by what he considers Joshua’s acceptance of facing less threatening opponents moving forward, rather than challenging himself against a fellow undefeated knockout artist" - Hypocrisy Wilder seems like his IQ is lower than the amount of good fighters he's faced. He can't seem to maintain the same level of rhetoric!

Who wants to take bets that Wilder and Fury mention AJ's name when they get in the ring together?

                Klitschko Parker. There's two.

When Wilder beats Fury he won’t need him more that’s why he is making the fight. He will be lineal champion and at that point belts are meaningless

                    Same for Ortiz then?

I'm sure there will be a rematch clause in there.
