AJ has never faced a top 3 or 4 opponent ever. Wilder has twice.

AJ is a great fighter. I have him ranked #1 in the world. But Hearn has been careful to keep him away from the absolute best guys.

AJ defeated two champions, a unification bout and a serial champ... Are you kidding me?

If this fight doesn't happen in April, it will be because of Wilder. He's already admitted that he refused the $15 million and demands a 50-50 split. And he knows that Hearn has already said that he's not offering more than $15 mill. He just told on himself, again.

Boxrec didn't even have him in the top 5. He'd fought pretty much nobody and struggled against guys that had fought pretty much nobody. You may be able to find some rankings that had him 3 or 4, but it was hardly a consensus. Stivene & King Kong were both consensus top 4 fighters when Wilder beat them.

It's pretend a champion is a nobody just to make you feel good.

Ali-Frazier I and Klitschko-Haye both had 50 - 50 split. Why, Keith Idec, do you persist in writing, "despite that Joshua would be the indisputable ‘A’ side of their fight in the UK." when other fighters of greater standing have fought for an even split? Are you, Keith Idec, in Eddie Hearn's pocket? Do you too fear that Deontay will KO AJ - perhaps resulting in crippling and career ending injury to AJ? Why else would you persist in writing, "despite that Joshua would be the indisputable ‘A’ side of their fight in the UK." unless this were the case? Furthermore, do you really believe once Wilder vs Fury takes place that anybody is going to care about AJ - let alone cling to, claims of being the 'A' side? One final question, Keith, during the build up to Ali-Frazier I, I never once heard of the 'A' side. Did you? So tell me why AJ is so important that his demands push aside those of Muhammad Ali, a boxing legend leagues ahead of AJ at any step of their respective careers.

To be honest I think it is because boxing is now in the Floyd "Money" Mayweather era which is all about money and not about the quality of the fight. Not really knocking Floyd because he was one of the best defensive talents boxing has seen. Still, anytime someone challenges the champ he is entitled to a fair purse. if he is the number one challenger then he should be compensated accordingly. Used to be that being the undisputed Champ was a primary motivator with greed playing a less significant role, but not any more (not including Mickie Garcia).

Does he knows what is going on with negotiation between the two camps? No he doesn't. The fact that he is using his own experience to judge reflects badly too. No one is prior on their negotiations except the two camps.

But you somehow are privy to the negotiation, right? And this allows you to offer opinions while others shouldn't?
