Boxers have to have a killer instinct them to be top dog but bringing children into it is wrong which ever way you dress it up.Do you think when AJ is punching his opponent he is swinging and hoping it doesn't hurt too bad. Nope. He, just like any fighter is attempting to put his opponent to sleep with zero thought of the impact of the punch other than getting the win.
Now I don't agree with what he said...I think it's of poor form given that he could cripple Breazeale with a punch. It's hard to be apologetic after you say you're gonna do it. However the fake outrage over it is ridiculous. EVERYONE knows that they are just words so why even. Folks get angry and say...I wanted to kill that motherf'er. Is an eye batted...nope.
There might be bad blood between them and thats fine if its aimed toward his opponent but not to an innocent child.
Dawg its of bad taste thats the bottom line and with being role model and a champion he also has a responsibilty to act like a champion.
I never agreed with many things what mike tyson said and with this i also don't agree with wilders statements.
Karma might just return when he is least expecting it.Comment

He said nothing negative about the child. Further wouldn't the child see the action of it occurred in the ring since most fighters bring their families. Lastly, he never said he wanted to tell the kid he was gonna cripple his father. He said he wanted the kid to meet him.Boxers have to have a killer instinct them to be top dog but bringing children into it is wrong which ever way you dress it up.

You're getting blocked, but I'd like to tell you that you're an idiot.
You said he doesn't bring in great TV ratings. What do PPV sales and ticket sales have to do with TV ratings? Wilder gets the most viewership out of anyone on Showtime.#1 rated? He hasn’t sold a single PPV and can’t even sell out an arena.
Who said cash cow? Blocked. What a cash cow!

Ok you little Angle, beat itNo, it isn't. Saying "I'll knock you out" is a boxing talk. Showing up as a batman is a "boxing talk" of sorts. But not this. And just because the public is so misleadingly and selectively forgiving of one boxer, it shouldn't give the green light for everyone to talk like this. And Mike Tyson was even more of an idiot for saying this kind of stuff. The only concession we could give to Mike (and even that would be waaay of a stretch) is because he had mental issues and was absolutely desperate to sell the fight and make some money.
What excuses does Wilder have? It was just a scuffle, who cares? Why make it so nasty? Or is he that pathetically desperate for attention? He should behave like a true champion (see either Klitschko for an example) and as an example for the younger boxers following his footsteps.Comment
